Poco X6 Pro with that SoC looks perfect hardware-wise, but I want OneUI, yet I really just cant hand out so much money for such a weak hardware.
Exynos 1580 is simply unacceptable for an upper-midrange phone in 2025. Woulda been ok in 2024 in the A55 maybe.
The state of the samsung midrange phones is tragic at this point.

Actually the E1580 might be closer to the SD 7 Gen 3 rather than the SD 888. Main thing will be the power efficiency. If it's the same as the 1480 then it will be a good chip.

I'm a good fan of Samsung but what I experienced using A14 Was my worst experience on lagging it can't even power snap chat freely I just began to dislike all CPU in general about Samsung is too slow especially A series in general and spares are so expensive to buy and repair
I will not use Samsung product for now until they wake up in their cpu on the A series

I understand that its enough for you and tbh right now it would be enough for me as well since I dont play on the phone or anything, BUT this is supposed to be an upper-midrange phone yet it boasts hardware which is barely enough to qualify for midrange title in 2025 already.
Is it really such an inconceivable idea to make these phones actually last at least for 3 years without hiccups?
I firmly believe we should be long past the age where this was a flagship feature, yet apparently samsung could not care less about the experience they provide to the midrange customers.
Its simply wild that the Exynos S21 and S22 will probably still overpower this phone. If the S21 was supported for a few more years, I would buy that without any second thought.

Since the update to Android 14, the phone has had all sorts of problems like overheating, short battery life, slowness, stuttering OUI animations and more and more and more. Don't believe me? Look at r/galaxya54. I hear the same things about the A53.

At this price range, assuming that Exynos 1580 is just SD 888 equivalent means it loses as SoC (other brands at this price range already has 2022 flagship equivalent) also knowing its exynos, would be better if they don't screw up battery life. Lack of zoom lens means instant lose at cameras. Also don't even think only samsung that has the best build quality and software features, other brands can catch up with Samsung now.

You need more than just a super fast SoC for a phone to be good, and the A5X series are usually well-balanced midrange phones that have a bit of everything - build quality, cameras, battery life, software features, etc.
If performance is what you're looking for in the midrange segment, just get a Poco or OnePlus.

Its 2025 but Samsung still cannot match the even the S21's Exynos 2100 with their midrange phones, let alone the 2200 from 2022.
I just fail to see whats the purpose of the A50 series if they will continue to gimp it so badly with the SoC.
Also optical fingerprint scanners are really getting old now.
All in all, samsung is very weak nowadays in the midrange phone market.
