I choose S24 FE because:
1) Galaxy AI stuff (yes I know people will say WHY but I want them, and Im pretty satisfied with it especially on Object Eraser & Drawing Assist (though Samsung downgrade the canvas and IDK why)
2) Camera, especially telephoto and x30 zoom
3) Better processor. I also not gamer but I play certain heavy game and I want stable FPS
4) Better color available. At first I want to pick A56 but all A56 color pretty dull and disappointed except Pink.

Things on A56 better than S24 FE:
1) Latest phone coming with stable ONE UI 7 & Android 15 (S24 FE require to update)
2) Got 12GB RAM variant, good to handle upcoming Android update incase future Android require more RAM
3) 45W charging and 5000mAH battery (25W on S24 FE and 4700mAH)

I would say go S24 FE because it worth for budget, but if you more prefer future-proofing for longer year of use (more than 2 years) then go A56

                    Why i will chose A56 over S24 fe
                    1- Don't won't fully gimmicks AI
                    2- No samsung Dex (thanks samsung)
                    3- 12 gig of ram
                    4- brighter screen 1900 nits vs s24 fe 1400 nits

                      Shame on you Samsung, should have stopped making these Exynos SOC and they've should know themselves how bad performance and heating issues in these Exynos chip. Here in my region at the same price range, I can get Vivo V50 with better stability SD 7 Gen 3 and better camera set up, or, if I don't care about Chinese bloat ware, I can get Redmi K80 Pro, or if I add a few $100 I can get Xiaomi 14T pro or saving more money, I can get Redmi Note 14 Pro+ with 512GB option that is even better phone than this laggy A56.

Simple scenario: Playing heavy game, minimize it for while to open Chrome (with only few tabs) to check the game guide, switching back to the game but now the game restarted.

                            Also in your case, 12GB is better as today, 8GB considered 'good enough' for 2025. That is another reason why virtual RAM is now additional features for nowaday phone. Though I disabled mine on S24 FE.

                              Whether 512 gb External Flash drive can be read if inserted in Micro USB -C type . If not - what is the max gb that can be assessed .

                                Xperience, 03 May 2025Genuine question, is there any notable differences between ... moreDepends on what you do, if you only use say WhatsApp, web browser and other socials then 8gb will be fine, lot of companies offer virtual ram which won't be as quick, but do the job perfectly fine.

                                If you game, have a phone that takes advantage of multi app (foldables) or you run a lot of different apps most of the time OR want to be using all the top new "a.i." assistant stuff then 12gb is recommended now.

                                  AsagiX, 07 May 2025You will notice if you let lot of apps running while keep s... moreOnly if you're going to be using things like Gemini advanced etc, my 8 pro with 12gb runs everything fine. Lot of phones allow to use of virtual ram (using storage as ram, ufs4.0 is pretty quick so should be very effective for a while).

                                  Also android will clear apps from the cache that haven't been used in the longest amount of time (to make room for other ram intensive apps). Usually having the other large ram app in the background will reduce its usage (instead of it being the active app needing ram). If all else fails it'll do an apple and just close all apps bar the active one (like you say will "restart" the app, usually android keeps it open cached in ram).
