I upgraded from the Galaxy A33 to A55 (that's 2 generations in between each model) and the upgrade was not really worth it, cameras, processor, overall performance is a bit better on A55 than it was on A33, but in my opinion it was not worth the price difference. If you have an A55, I would wait at least 3 years to upgrade :) this is what I will do.

And the camera disappoints. And it doesn't offer 6 (!) years of update support. Its fine - when you can get it cheap (256GB version) but the 8 MP old UWA camera snapper is a complete joke - into 2025+....2019 called, and wanted it's camera module back! (Redmi Note 8 Pro)

This all new A56 5G does look surprisingly well made for its class - premium design. Also no dreaded 8 MP UWA Cam (hello Xiaomi!) but 12 MP instead, which is really pretty much standard - and bare minimum into 2025 - as it should be! A 8 MP UWA Cam is totally 2019. (Redmi Note 8 Pro) Sub Standard.
Finally, 6 years (and 6 Android Updates) is something, you're paying for - but even Xiaomi "Midterm Flagships" like the 13T/14T (Pro) Series don't offer 6 years of support !
