in my case, overheating is resolved with mm update. it's everday temperature is lower and highest temp it reaches during fast charging is 35C. just be sure to do the factory reset after the update.

don, 26 Sep 2016now, my a5 2016 i kinda notice that it battery degraded aft... moreit shouldn't be that hot even if charging, u can try charge it without fast charge (either disable if allowed or try another charger without it) just to prove if the heat is due to the fast charge (even then it shouldn't over heat that much) and maybe take it to a service :)

Phone is 20% faster. battery life is better. mo... morenow, my a5 2016 i kinda notice that it battery degraded after few months of use, 2.4 days in ultra power saving and 42 celcius while charging, 40 percent - 80 percent... How u charged your phone m8, give me tips pls, is it normal?

If it is a thin third party cable then it will lose its efficiency in 2-3 weeks. Try with any other cable that may be available in your home from any other smartphone (original cable of any other handset)

Does anyone know if i can manually update my samsung a5 2016 model a5100 using Odin to android 6 marshmallow using official firwmware realesed for models a510f or a510m? Anyone tried this? What can happen wrong? I ask this because there isn't a realese of android 6 for model a5100, yet.....Thanks
