Also please do not use any third party battery optimizes like "battery doctor", they will damage the battery in long term use. Last but not least when not use keep the Wi-Fi, mobile data, location etc off. Forget to mention do not use any animated theme, screen saver or vibration (unless you need it).
I advice you to back up your all data and do a "hard reset". Sometimes device will fill up with lot of cache, left over dump etc; so it is best to do a fresh start after few months to make the device new. Regards.

Wow. That is getting hot. Cool down guys. Every device is good but not for everyone. Like a car or bike, eveey device is specific for user and how the user uses it.
Personally I will not say that this device is the ultimate best and that is the ultimate worst.
I have A5 (2016) in home which is a good device. Screen and camera is awesome. Also the battery life is decent. Only con is it heats up more compare to my other device J7 Prime.
As for S3 Mini. I have not used that one. But my former team leader has a S3 which was best in 2014. But till than I have not meet him or seen his device.
Last but not least comparing a 2016 device to 2013 device is not fair. Regards.

The only thing that is dissapointing is that I have to charge it twice a day. And when I bought it and it was at lollipop I got 8 hours of screen time. Now I get just 4. Maybe I did something stupid. Doesn't matter.

Maybe you've bought a faulty device . She never had battery issues. We don't like playing games but once ive tried Sonic on her phone and there was no lag.

I have this phone since april 2016. It ages very quick thanks to samsung looks and sealed low quality batteries.( that explodes as well) I LOVED this phone until 6.0 came. Because samsung browser lags like hell and samsung downgraded performance even more. Clash royale lags in 720p (downscaled in game tuner) more than in 1080p when game tuner is off.It's hilarious but true! Sorry for saying that is ancient.I am a bit sad today. My mistake sweetie :) Also an advice! If you have 7.0 on it disable fast charging! It degrades the battery even more. And the look on this phone makes me wonder why I don't have a girlfriend :))). Because I cracked this phone's back from 25cm drop?.

Ive never had this smartphone but my best friend does have it! No reason for me to lie here! And she gave it to me quite many times and I am a fond of it. I said the phone is Almost as good as a flagship. Its battery never ends and the display is gorgeous. The camera is excellent . We have taken many pictures and they were perfect. There was no lag when we have watched videos on youtube and chatting on Instagram , Skype and Facebook.

Where do you come from ? And a phone came out in 2016 isn't an ancient one. 2016 was only last year, if you don't know that. XD

And how can you compare this phone with a flagship???? Of course camera is the best on this phone. I love. Display is better than note 4. Battery is king. But gpu is horrible. That is the only thing that sucks. And I have to throw this phone because battery is already degraded.barely get 4 hours on browsing. Imagine next year. Hope it will survive. But If I want facebook and instagram then I could stick to my 2012 phone. By the way

2017 is way way better, but still no match to SD 810. Released in 2015.
I am not a gamer. But it barely pushes 30 fps on lowest settings in newest titles. Next year I have to throw this phone away. So much lag...

How long have you been using the A5 2016? And think the device is almost as good as a flagship. Compared to its new generation I think the performance is better. And also its camera is better.
