Gaurav, 27 Jun 2017just keep one a5 with nougat and one a5 with lollipop in ea... moreMy A5 (2016) was preloaded with Marahmellow and not Lollipop. Yes I use Lollipop in my 2 years old Lenevo Tab and Jelly Bean on about 5 years old Galaxy Trend as back up phone in car.

But my current device is J7 Prime (Marshemllow) and On7 Pro (Marahmellow). J7 Prime will get Noughet update for sure and may be On7 Pro also.

Anyway as for Camera, It has got some new features and as for colour changes in A5. After getting Noughet there are some colour settings which can be tweaked to increase the colour or decrease.

Last but not least I am ready to accept some camera performance degrade issue with a new OS if my device gets better security to protect me my privacy, data and banking info from hackers. I use my device more as productive, social and e wallet rather than a camera. Yes, I have great interest in photography also and in my cousin brother who got a professional DSLR for nature photography I am also thinking to get one for travel photography.

And I still claim that I am not proving any one wrong here. If you are not happy with Noughet than use Lollipop, Marahmellow, Jelly Bean, Ice Cream Sandwich or any old android version. But don't create doubt And fear on other users. Regards.

mdtrpa, 26 Jun 2017Gaurav & Apolodor have posted their opinions recently. ... moreI am not here to fight or prove anything to any one. All I am here to say about my real expereince. I agree that I am not a expert in android coding or hardware, but I am a normal android user for last 5 years.

As for upgrading to new OS, I still say it is good option for long term use. And also sometimes things will not go smooth. So you have to either reset the device or tweak some settings or wait for a small update. Regards.

                      First IS is OS.

Second the camera issue with colour which is rubbish.

It does not matter what your current OS version is. As long as you get a IS upgrade you should download and install it. Every company did a lot of research and testing before releasing the new OS upgrade. So, you should not doubt and worry. Also if you will not install the upgrade than you will not get any new security updates. So your device will be vulnerable to cyber attacks.

As for camera performance, it is rubbish. I have also get the Nouget upgrade on my father's A5 (2016) and faced no issue. In fact I have seen some new interesting small but useful features on Camera app. Also the battery performance has increased signifciantly. Regards.

                                hello guys,
                                i have a5 2016.
yesterday i visited samsung store to see the lollipop version of a5 2016, there i found that the camera quality of the phone is very much better than my nougat version. i want to share this point because now i m feeling very disappointed with samsung. i compared the camera and display colour quality with the lollipop version and showed it to the store manager then he told me that everyone is complaining about this matter. he said the update has decreased the camera quality and display colours so that people would switch to buy newer phones from samsung. i want you guys to find the differences also. pls share.
