Also keep shut off GPS, wi-fi, mobile data etc when you are not using or charging the phone. Most important, please do not install lots of unnecessary apps as 1)they eat both RAM and ROM 2)Slow down the device 3)consumes data and 4)risks your devices for hacking etc.
If possible do a factory reset after taking the data back up. I am sure it will solve the battery problem. If the problem still persist than visit the nearest "Samsung Service Centre" today.

Til, 21 Nov 2016Is it true that this phone has heating issues? I am interes... moreOn normal usage like social media or youtube using there is no major heating issues. But yes the device feels little warm after continuous use for around 30 minutes or more. but this is common is every metallic device which has glass back. also the device cool down easily. My father is using it for last few weeks and he has not felt any heating or hanging problem. You can definitely go for it. It is a nice device with a lots of innovative features.

Is it true that this phone has heating issues? I am interested in this phone but have heard complaints about heating and lag. I don't play games much but heavy user of social media apps like YouTube Facebook Sanpchat etc. Any advice on whether to get this phone or no? If no, what other phone would you all recommend instead of this.?

Hi friends... I am using Samsung Galaxy A5 (2016) since march. I love this device very much. But now i am facing some problem with the battery. Battery life is very worst now. The SOT is 2 to 2.30 hours. It suddenly offs when battery percentage reaches 40%. What i should do now? When i plug charger it charges from 0%.

I got this phone. AWSOME but there is a problem: I have updated my phone to android Marshmallow 6.0.1. Everything is awsome except one important thing. I experience MUCH LAGS on even some 2d games after updating!! I can suggest you to BUY THIS AWSOME PHONE but DON'T UPDATE THIS PHONE TO ANDROID 6.

Vai, 17 Nov 2016Iam facing a lock screen delay on my a5 6(about 1 seconds).... moreYou should try to format it. It should solve solve the problems. To do this, follow the stepls.
1. You should back up all the files from for the memory card to a OTG device or laptop/desktop first.
2. Than "Format" the memory card only using the Phones (not by laptop/desktop).
3. Than copy all the back up data to the memory card folders like songs/mp3 to Music, PDF/txt files to Documents, Jpgs/images to Pictures etc.
4. Also I will suggest you can check the back up data using a good anti virus software in desktop/laptop.
last but not least "please do not use any unverified OTG/USB connection and APK in your device. It will cause a lot of unwanted problems in your device and life.
Hope it will solve the problem. Best of luck.

Bought this phone last week, After using other smartphones A5(2016) is better them all, in this price range.. Great battery life no lag / jerk , bright display over all i will give 8.5/10 coz its fullfilling all my requirements :)
