Okay. I expected too much with selfie focus. I thought it would solve the selfie autofocus problems, background blurring, people in the back getting blurred, etc. Selfie focus is just a software version of bokeh effect / portrait mode on smartphones with dual-camera system. It's not a perfect feature yet. My hair and shoulders get blurred as well. :(
I can't also tell if this update really solved the selfie blurring problems. I'm not with a group of people right now so I can't test it.
Anyway, it's an October Security Patch (skipped September patch on my country) and I'm good with it.

153.96 MB update came in right now. They are adding more features to nougat aside from security patch. Can't copy the changelog right now. *downloading* < 3

This comment is for Pakistani Users who are dying for Nougat update.
You can download any other firmware that support your mobile CSC code. i am using soudi arabia Nougat on my Pakistani phone from 3 weeks and works perfectly. When Pakistani nougat available i will be back Pakistani CSC. Thats why I am in Chill mood.

It performs well or best first one to three months then you will notice the difference between MM and NO. So,on MM A5 2017 is best i am facing no problem and 2 day battery life and I am getting 9hours Screen on Time on MM and no battery drain issue so,in my opinion MM is best

man, anybody facing the same problem as mine after the update of nougat on this? becoz mine sunddenly sleep (is that a doze off feature?) but wakes up in AOD. this happens whenever i let my phone untouched or standby for a while, even though i set 1 min. before to sleep on options.. well its kinda hard to wake this again if u want to quickly wake up the device.. becoz it really take seconds before wake up. and it prolongs the deep sleep if u keep pressing ur home button or power button.. just why? is it a bug or the "doze off" feature?? please help.

I noticed my battery is draining faster on Nougat. Initially I thought it was because I didn't do factory reset after the update, later I went through the stress of factory reset and yet the battery still drains.

Elie K, 13 Oct 2017By default and after the update the incoming notification d... moreI don't see a setting to turn it on or off either. By the way, I'm on nougat. Screen wakes up on notifications. Maybe you should try factory reset? But it would be tiring to reinstall and tweak your phone again. The best, I think, is to wait for another update. For now, just rely on sound notifications and AOD (at least it shows notification icons).
