Finally got 7.0 . Awesome UI.,, Battery life same or improved. Can't find the different then before. Two days easily on moderate use.

2 weeks after the nougat update review from me.
The update interface looks great, changed alot.
But since then i have many flaws.
Phone become laggy. Facebook and whatsapp stop working frequently and have to restart the apps. lost data connection need to restart phone.
apart from that battery life still the same as before.

Super Presh, 03 Oct 2017From your day 1 to today is how many days, weeks, or months?Since June 2. I hate the tempered glass since it can't reach the curved part. It makes this phone feel cheap. And I can't touch the sides well. Feels better when I removed it.

EDIT: Wow. I'm amazed. I'm with this phone for 4 months. Seems like yesterday or just recently! I'm a satisfied A5 2017 user! :D

If you are putting it in your pocket, make sure that your phone is the only thing in your pocket. Otherwise, use a tempered glass or screen protector. Good luck finding a curved tempered glass though!

Watch durability videos done by JerryRigEverything. The only phone that can withstand more scratching is the U Ultra Sapphire edition.

Same problem with 2016 version. But those scratches are invisible on the screen. And sony uses stronger glass that scratches heavily at level 8 or 9 on mohs scale, comparing with samsung that level 7 is fatality.
Use a screen protector. Because you can't trust anything from this conpany.

it says its gorrila glass 4 but i dont get it my a5 2017 geting scratched by everythnig..... compared i had sony z5 couple years old with scratch-resistant glass. for around half year 0 scrathes at all.....

Hamid, 01 Oct 2017have it otg ?Hi, yes it supports type-c usb otg. But you have to buy a separate one since the included adapter, micro-usb to type-c, inside the box (depends on your country if you have one), only supports charging and not usb reading. I only wished Samsung would also include the type-c usb otg but oh well, that's Samsung!

AnonD-647478, 30 Sep 2017Did anybody here find a curved tempered glass that covers... moreHere in Philippines we have but with colors, meaning the upper and lower bezels of the tempered glass are not transparent but colored like gold, black even white since it's sticky on those part so it could stay in place on the curve sides. The sticky part would be too obvious if the whole tempered glass was transparent. Try alibaba or any chinese store online, they mostly have everthying, except quality.
