I remember the time when updates were not a big deal... until smartphones came!
Guys, lets just enjoy what this smartphone can do for us. Before I used this phone, I've used an iOS 9 iPhone 4S for 7 months, Jellybean Galaxy Trend Lite for 1 year, Ice Cream Sandwich Xperia Neo V for 1 year, Gingerbread Galaxy Y for 1 year. All of these phones do not receive updates when I was using but I just enjoyed what it can do for me - include rooting and custom roms. Because time will always come for us to buy new smartphones, either yearly or when your daily driver is dead. Just enjoy this lovely A5 2017! ;)
P.S. This is the first smartphone I bought with my own money. The others I mentioned were just given to me or bought by my family. It's really worth it to buy this phone!

Samsung release nougat now other only few hours remaining launch of iPhone 8 if u release update A5 2017 users busy testing Software otherwise they will watch Apple event which is not good for u....

My sister have this phone for kinda 3 weeks and the upperside left corner is shattered ,i told her get a case and screen protector,better if she gave me the money i have got an s8 XD

I find the jump from 6.0 and 7.0 in my A5 a pretty big one, the UI and animations have changed a lot. Not to mention that the FP scanner is actually usable now.

vino, 11 Sep 2017Why it's price is cut down ,any problem in this model Price cuts are normal. This phone was released on January 2017. It's already 8 months old. And in few months, A5 2018 shall be revealed. But not all countries received the price cuts yet.

L. S, 12 Sep 2017which phone i must choose? A5 2017 or Xperia XI bought a5 n know regretting.. Camera focusing is too slow images comes blur sometimes.. Xperia x is much better and honor 8 is even better. U can see the comparison on YouTube

OK. Yesterday I have got the nougat update in India. Not a major difference at all. The ui looks a bit like s8. Otherwise the phone was awesome already. I am very much satisfied with my phone. This is really a good and lovely phone. Marshmallow was doing great though now let's see the capacity of nougat.

If you have problems with "moisture has been detected" message on Samsung a5 2017 you need to clean your usb port with a small needle first and after that you need to take all the dirt out with a toothpick. you need to consider also cleaning the 3.5 mm jack because if there is dirth in this port you will get the same message. cheers
