I'm a fan of themes, so updated icons and UI on SE 8.1 is not a big bother for me, though I'm really excited for nougat as well. When benchmarked, A5 2017 Nougat performs faster than A5 2017 Marshmallow. Talking about security update, my country is still at June patch. Hahaha

Very very disappointing from Samsung again. Still no sign of Nougat update for Mid range Flagship A5 2017.

to be proud to hear an action plan to update from 6.0.1 to 7.0 (upgradable to 7.0 (Nougat)). Why today is not possible

Before 3 months i was beside A5 2017 and the Sony Xperia XA1 to be my daily driver . But finally i choose the Sony one and i am pretty happy about my choose ! Because the Sony has better camera and will recieve the android 8,0 whille A5 will stick to 7,0.But i am not here to advertise my SONY phone i know A5 is a good phone for its price and if the Sony where on the market at that time i could easily choose A5 ! For sure A5 has cons over Sony like the fingerprint sensor that is missing from SONY !

If you care about ca... moreThat's very true. The S7 has come down in price albeit still at a high price (£429.99 in the UK) though. The One Plus 5 (which is considered a "premium" mid-range has NO EIS and yet they were able to issue an update that included EIS. I'm just scratching my head why Samsung still havn't included that in an update.
Btw, the Moto G5 Plus DO have image stabilisation "limited" to 1080p video @ 30fps.

If you care about cameras this much, then I suggest you go for a flagship device. All mid-range devices struggle in lowlight. Last year flagships like the S7 have great cameras and are now a lot cheaper.

Camera under good daylight performs great, exposure is controlled provided that your hands are still. Low light performance is ok-ok, the wide aperture does help, but if it had ois, results would've been much better. I'm not sure if any other phone in this segment has OIS.
I'm not worried about general daylight (or places with good artificial lighting) too much coz I know the photos will end up decent anyway. Photos (and actual review) in here, SamMobile & PhoneArena all shows colours are bland, muted and looking unnatural (e.g. green leaves doesn't look too much green, etc.) Show me otherwise and I'll believe yah. I'm mostly worried about the low light performance of both front & rear cameras too mainly NOT because it doesn't have OIS but some digital or electronic/software-based image stabilisation. Some phones in this category do have electronic stabilisation such as the Moto G5 Plus (great value albeit slow updates) and Xperia X (fast updates albeit smaller screen).

The camera on this phone is really bad. Even in decent light and with fairly still hands the photos come out blurry. When I am taking photos is hard for it to focus on the object, especially when the object is closer and even when it looks like I took clear image it turns out it's all blurry. This is honestly the worst phone camera I've had in years.

The camera photo quality doesn't have the feeling of being "natural" or vibrancy compared to the flagships S-series. All of the photos and reviews I have seen (both the rear & front camera) has come out with reviews like bland-looking, not so natural, overexposure, slow AF and poor low light capabilities mainly because of the lack of ANY image stabilisation which is unacceptable for a 2017 mid-range phones.
