Bought mine recently, really nice phone. Screen is not perfect, but for the price is awesome, same goes for camera, and especially front camera is mind blowing. Phone is fast, works flawless. Only things that bothered me were some settings that I had to adjust. And to mention battery lasts long, which is also really good thing, it does not drain fast. And blue light filter and contrast adjustment were also a nice touch. I am satisfied.

But being "nice & clear" simply won't cut it in 2017 anymore. The mid-range market is becoming too crowded and being nice & clear or decent is just isn't enough and people want a wee bit more contrast, resolved detail, low noise, some form of stabilisation, etc.

Please don't be a blind fanboy. Almost every review of the A5 2017 tells how it produces average images most of the time. Even the old A5 2016 had a better camera overall. A5 2016 has a bigger sensor, which means bigger pixels and hence better low light performance. Also, OIS helps it a lot. I wonder why Samsung decided to skimp on the camera in the A5 2017. Under broad daylight, it produces good images if your hands are really still.
And don't get me started on the lack of video stabilization in the A5 2017..

Get the phone first, then you'll understand how bad the camera performs under low light.
