samsung sucks always..
i m fan of samsung..
but i dnt why samsung didn't provide updates.
today is fast market. other brands performing well compared to samsung.
i have galaxy a5 2017 using this chrrently.
1st when i bought it. there was a option in play store of BETA
there was a google asstant.
but after security patch update all were gone.
camera sucks... specialy front.
and back cover is okay
but that doesn't even focus on object properly.
it seems like 8mp camera not 16 mp.
in my life i used many of samsubg device my 1st phn was samsung
i never regret.
but buying this phn i m regreting myself
why i bought this phn.

Paolo, 04 Aug 2017Now I'm confused, for you which 1 you will buy?A5 2017 is waterproof, supports Samsung pay, faster CPU and GPU, better display, and Samsung's AOD. Since it's a higher end device, it gets more support from Samsung.
J5 pro has no proper advantages over the A5. Sure, it's camera has a wider aperture, but just by that we can't conclude it has a better camera. Metal build can either be a pro or a con. One huge disadvantage of the J5 is the display. The 5.2inch 720p AMOLED display produces grainy images, thanks to the low res and pentile pixel arrangement. And again, fingerprint scanner is subjective. They say that with the new nougat update, fingerprint scanner performance of the A3 2017 improved, so we can expect the same for a5 2017. So yeah, clearly the A5 is the superior phone.

why my phone battery drain 5-6% overnight. I have activated flight mode and medium power saving also and 1.4gb ram free and i have also not activated AOD always on display but my battery drains everyday overnight??I have disabled also fb and messenger and all apps

If you want fast android updates then buy either pixel or Moto devices. Remaining vendors really sucks. They simply sell and forget about it.

A5 2017 uses better internal components than the J5 Pro, which reduces battery drain. And the only advantage J5 Pro has is the front camera.

Paolo, 02 Aug 2017Which one is better j5 pro or a5 2017?If you are asking about the J5 pro 2017, the design is almost the same so it's not a point to judge, except J5 2017 has some advantages over A5 2017, like an aluminium unibody (no water resistant but more shock and scratches resistant than the glass back of A5), the front camera has better focus and apperture (1.7) and LED flash. The back camera has better aperture too and some people says the autofocus is better than A5. Some reviewers say the fingerprint sensor works better and it could be true since it shares the SoC and other components with A3 2017 and it works fine. The chipset is a little slower but still energy efficient and the rom is on Nougat since day one (still waiting on the A5 upgrade and hoping it won't affect negatively on the preformance of the A5). On the other hand, A5 battery life is unbeatable, the graphic processor is far better for gaming and the screen quality is supperb.

And great battery life C5 have 2600mah which is not sufficient It gives 3 to 4 hours while a5 2017 Gives 7 to 8 hours Screen On time..
