Saturation of a display not only depends on the hardware, but also software. In A5 and other Samsung phones, you have an option to change color temperature and different display modes. Hate oversaturated colors? Switch to basic mode, which is 'natural' colors. It's simple. I still find it hard believe you, because the A5's display is nothing short of amazing. It's better than the Xperia X's display.

Anonymous, 18 Jul 2017Either your just trolling, or you got really defective piec... morewell sony screens are more natural compared with super amoled. before i had sony z5 but had to refund to waranty. after got a5 2017. for first couple days a5 screen looked like trash. now looks nice. prob i had to adapt

A5 has a SAMOLED display which is almost as good as the one in S7. I never max out my A5's brightness because at 100%, the brightness is so high to the extent that it causes eye strain (unless I'm under direct sunlight). And the AMOLED display has higher gamut, viewing angles and contrast than the Xperia X's IPS LCD. Also, it's pure black levels make videos an immersive experience.
