Just got updated to Oreo 8.0. The new update seems to have improved alot. The phone is now smoother than earlier and it has got little bit speedy. The apps open quickly and overall I am satusfied with the new update. I received it over the air so that I could insall i by myself. I highly recommend this update. If you are going tp update it yourself, make sure you have sufficient credit/ data to download the update. The update is about 1400MB in size (approximately). After downloading the update, make sure you have more than 50% of battery power before you install it. Thanks..

I use a5.bluetooth device not connected on whatsapp audio video call.otherwise all feature connected to bluetooth device.any solution for my help in this case.thanx

I just bought new A5 (2017), everything works just fine, but then I tried to post story on Instagram with GIF and the phone freezes..it appears with sign posting but it never posts..also when I try saving a pic with gif on it says processing but it never saves the pic.Should I be worry? is it processor or? does anyone had that kind of problem?

I just got my A5 2017 today, and immediately got the Oreo update. But after watching few videos on youtube, i dont see anything different than Nougat and people are complaining about battery draining fast. So is it worth to update? Anyone?

Its a bug? Do i should change to 411 like in Nougat? Anybody know why its change from 411 to 360 withiut asking me? Should I change it to more pixels ?

Ca... moreOk I m not targeting Samsung but it is not justified that someone is using Oreo from 2 months we are still waiting and every time Samsung late updates in my country why if everywhere update is working fine why it will cost problem in my country and now they started rollout of S7 in different countries still not completed rollout of A5 2017 a huge company only have capability to update one device at one time thats nonsense and non acceptable...

If you want increase battery life, decrease screen resolution in developer option in (minimum width) from 410 to 360 or 320 and then decrease font size to smallest.

What the hell Samsung are doing Still No Oreo in pakistan, if everywhere update is working fine why samsung have phobia of blast... now they started rollout S7 update they will complete that after they will release it.. 400 billion worth company only have ability to update one device at one time on other side Nokia yesterday re launch company providing Updates to every single device totally shame on samsung, one day they will understand what they havr done to users...

Just updated mine to oreo performance and ram management is better than nougat battery is the same as nougat fingerprint scanner is faster n less anoying
I hope the next update would fix the battery life mine has been draining since i updated to nougat
