Stevendave2753, 11 May 2018How is the battery life on oreo ? Worse or better than noug... more1.Verify your signal strenght.
Personally, at settings/connections/mobile networks/network mode i have only 3G because my DIGI operator don't excel in terms of the signal. If I set 3G Only, in all the locations I frequent I have almost full signal.
As network connection, I use at home WIFI (never turned off) and outside 3G.

              2. Disable preinstaled apps which are unused (Briefing, Drive, Chrome, Photo, Google, Google Play Store, OneDrive, etc.).
I preffer to activate Play Store only when I need to update/download apps and after - disable. I use WPS Office instead of all Microsoft Office Apps (disabled too).

              3. Keep your sistem clean, install only apps. which you use

              4. Close background apps, using multi-window button (on the left side of home button)

              5. Sensors: I don't use automatic luminosity, only manual and at 1/3 in house, 1/2 outside; bluetooth off, automatic rotation off

              6. Location off, Automatic Sync off, Backup off – and other stuff that can be on, useless

@ Today I have updated to Oreo, so, for the moment I can't say It's a performance improvment, I didn't see any difference. My Battery last about one day and half - allways with 3G outside/Wifi at home, I often use whatsapp and the Electroneum app. allways run in background.

I return with feedback after update to Oreo 8.0 and S.Experience 9.0:

                          * RAM: Reserved memory lowered from 275 to 256 free but as free memory - same as nougat, it depends only by opened apps/background apps.
                          * Battery: it's too early to draw a conclusion, the differences can be observed in time (idle)...
                          * Aspect:
                          - Now we can block notiffication from side bar when the screen is locked - look here: SCREEN LOCKED: https://ibb.co/b6RQRJ / SCREEN UNLOCKED: https://ibb.co/hAxbYy
                          - Possibility to modify watches aspect (models/colors), just a screen capture: https://ibb.co/k9xM0d .

I noticed an interesting thing: with 6.0 and 7.0, when I pressed an application icon (not all, just some installed apps from Google Play), I had the option to put that application to sleep. Now, this option no longer exist, I think, the 8.0 automatically do that job and maybe will have good result in terms of battery life/performance.

Personally, overall, I'm satisfied with the update, the phone seems to respond a bit better/faster (fluid and less time to process the operation).

                          All the best!

LTH, 11 May 2018Hello guys, I've got today (11.05.2018) notification about ... moreYou mean nougat or oreo?
I can't tell you excatly how much cause I have plenty of background running apps, but I can tell you that it's the same as the nougat. However whole RAM management seems better.

I've just recieved the update. In addition to some new features, they increased UI smoothness and the phone multitasking is faster. Still can't tell anything about the battery but seems pretty cool. I did not perform a factory reset.
Sammy did a great job here!
