Eriii, 19 Apr 2018Noo eis is a hardware not software problem...OIS is hardwer related, EIS not... its all about software. Bur, no, Samsung will not add EIS on A5 2017. This feature have A8 2018, and thay want to sell it more than A5 2017.

I have heard that the A5 2017 is getting the much awaited Oreo update. But considering the release date which Android OEM maker is still wee bit faster than the other one (in chronological order please) when it comes to software updates, security updates, bug fixes, emergency fixes, etc...Samsung, Motorola or Huawei/Honor?

For some weird reason the front camera, which is a mess with pictures, takes better video shoots in terms of stabilization... So there would be the possibility to include such feature in the main camera. But after more than a year of the release of the A5 2017 there is no traces of interest from Samsung to really improve the quality by adding EIS
