Just wanna ask
How is battery life condition in nougat? Is it worse or same? Is the overall performance worse or better?
Does it heat often in nougat? As i sometimes face lag and heat issue in marshmallow n I hesitates to update it to nougat
As i worry it will cause some problems to my phone

It has not the same internal hardware but is smaller and good enough and keep the build quality, fast charging, always on display and water resistance. Check reviews about the A3 2017 on the internet.

I try to unloc... moreThat can happen if you have greasy or moisty skin because it makes you leave a fingerprint mark over the sensor and it can fool the sensor when pressing other fingers over it. Just wipe clean the sensor frequently to make sure there is no marks on it.

em, 21 Mar 2018ey rikkon. can you rate samsung a5 2017. base on your experienceWell, after almost a year of use, from 1 to 10 I'd give a 8 to the A5 2017. It's fast enough for me (I don't play with the phone, I use it for texting, media content, calling and emailing mostly). The screen is superb, specially when using outdoors. Battery life is very good and even when not using fast charger it charge fast enough. The sound during calls is very good and with headphones is excellent. The speaker is not very loud but is clear. I'd like the fingerprint sensor to be more efficient (with moisture it fails a lot) and useful (only 3 fingers can be registered and only for unlocking the phone) and of course the selfie camera is weak but the main camera is very snappy and the software and image processing has been improved.

Janika, 21 Mar 2018I am thinking to upgrade my wife's phone to the A5 (2017) C... moreI have bad experience since i bought the A5 at Samsung authorised reseller for the first 1 month.The issues started with the touch screen problem.After almost 1 year the problem gets even worse when the touch screen become fully unresponsive.Sold it for half price.Regret 😔

Cuz a5 has better processors...and a5 is better for gaming experience and for everything else...
My a5 doesnt lag...maybe is only yours....

j7 2017 works smoother and have much better batt life for gaming and 5.5. but only 16 gb rom - a5 laggs, heats, but have 32 gb rom and it looks like premium class and worths half price s8. thats it. a5 for 250 usd is good deal overall but not for gaming just to look cool .

I am thinking to upgrade my wife's phone to the A5 (2017) Currently she is using the Galaxy J3 and although it does the job well and reliable, it's all plastic and not the fastest tool in the shed, plus it takes hours to charge it's battery. Always on display on the A5 would be a welcomed feature, so as the side speaker, Size is a lill larger too 5 i vs 5.2, Not to mention Full HD. Any long term reliability issues by anyone here?!

I wanna buy this phone but I saw a lot of negative reviews about its rear and front camera. I use to have a HTC M8 before and I was very happy with the good pictures made even in bad weather conditions like fog.
