Singapore Samsung Fa, 07 Apr 2015My A7 hangs almost once a day. screen locks up; no particul... morei am having the same problem. The phone locks itself sometimes and pattern lock does not work. I dont know now a days it hangs often. It has been just 10 days i have bought this phone.

4]S5 has HDMI, NFC, DLNA against A7 has only NFC
5] S5 does not have dual SIM A7 has Hybrid dual SIM that is the second slot will take either MicroSD card or SIM
6] S5 does not have FM radio A7 has FM radio
7] S5 has USB on-the-go A7 does not have OTG.
8] screen resolution of both are same but S5 is only 5.1" and A7 is 5.5" so Pixel per sq inch [PPI] for S5 is 432 against 402 for A7
9] A7 costs Rs2.5k more than S5
Now you decide. but both are going to have lolipop.

bought this phone few days back,camera superb, performance wise very good, no lagging or hanging, battery is cool , lasts for 12-15 hours with net on n other usage...

Riya, 06 Apr 2015I wanna buy a new phone but I m confuse between Samsung S5 ... moreu should go for galaxy s5 for a full pledged smartphone. s5 unique features when ccompared with a7 are infra red, thermometer, pressure sensor etc, 16 megapixel advanced camera. A7 special features are corning gorilla glass 4, weightless about 4 gm lesser than s5.

My A7 hangs almost once a day. screen locks up; no particular apps. anyone has similar problem ? restart will resolve, but it sound silly that my 50% utilized phone (memory wise) will hang / stall once per day.
