ThanxS5 has 16MP camera - does not have dual SIM , does not have radio, is 5.1" , has 1.9GHz quad core prossesor.
A7 has 13MP camera has hybrid dual SIM, has Radio, is 5.5" and has 1.5GHz Octa core processor.
Each end user wants something to his own liking. One cannot generalize that a particular phone is good. Each one's requirements are different and accordingly one should choose a phone. Happy Hunting

My need is dual sim with stylish and better battery. A7 fulfills all of it.its simply superb and more stylish phone now a days especially gold color.

Samsung A7 Duos is a beautiful and good phone. Good build quality and sleek design. No battery issues. Last a day with medium to heavy usage. No heat issue. Of course with heavy gaming as usual any phone gets warm. Good camera and a good Selfie front camera. Call reception too is good. Only wished Samsung would have provided a dual sim card tray and the second slot was solely for the memory card. CPU speed is also good. Volume levels are good. I downloaded NOLED free App from Play Store and used it as a Widget and I can see the charging % with the time while the screen is off. Easy.

G... moreUse the NOLED App from the Widget section. It will not work if you try to load it from your App section.
And by the way Samsung A7 is a beautiful and good phone. Not a big deal but just wished they had a separate memory slot. No battery issue. Lasts a full day of medium to heavy usage. Call reception is fine and volume for hearing music without headphones is better than Sony Z series.

Go through the settings and it will show you the charging indicator % with time also while the screen is off. It's very simple. Enjoy.
