Anonymous, 27 Jun 2019 lol i own an A70 its a great device i love it,if you didn... moresure thing, mid ranger, they had the J series with good hardware and not that great body, and the A series with a better body while specs did not shine. Now they have the new A series where specs don't shine and the body is below J series quality. pff "midranger" . good one samsung, gorilla glass 3 and full plastic body. and call it midranger filled with great features like fake 32mp camera and bad fingerprint. snap a picture and look at the details. in a year that chipset will be well below average, and the plastic body sure won't help. what's midrange about it? at half the price of S series, and a quarter of performance.

had my phone a couple weeks - had a lg G6 before this - this is a dream phone in comparison- not as nice as my previous but 7Edge- but very comparable- never stray from Samsung again.

Samsung doesn't care in midrange segment A70 has SD 675 processor price 29K redmi has ahead of the launch
redmi k20 has SD 730 full view AMOLED display +Sony camera price 20K K20 SD855 price 25K any Samsung it's tough competition

I got galaxy a70 since almost a week now. I'm facing trouble while unlocking the phone with biometric. And with the touchscreen as well, as it is not as responsive as it should have been. I got the may update. I wonder how people call it a good phone.

I was about to waste my money on th... more lol i own an A70 its a great device i love it,if you didnt want to waste your money is ok go to the chinese crap they have a lot offe to you, bare in mind for people who is expecting flagship features on a mid ranger, remember its a MID RANGER (jesus christ)...

It is a A50 with bigger screen and bigger price. Unfortunately the volume of speaker is really low, like on A30.

The A9 has a 24 (actually 24.8, marketed as 25 in new phones) megapixel camera that actually takes decent photos with a full 24 megapixels. The A70 has a 32 MP rear camera and 25 MP selfie camera which need their pixel binning tech to achieve the full quality i.e. if you want maximum image quality you'll have to take images at 8 MP, 12 MP or 16 MP (rear camera) and 6.2 MP/12.4 MP (front camera). If I recall the default on the A70 is not the full 32 MP/25 MP.
Whereas the A9 2018 has 24.8 MP camera on both front and back and you can actually get the best image quality under all lighting conditions by using the default 24 MP option. A9 2018 had really poor image quality at launch but Samsung has fixed it completely by software updates.
Low light image performance of A9 2018 is now better than A50/A70 which are both somewhat similar to each other in terms of camera image quality (mainly only colours are different).
The telephoto lens on the A9 is not a very big deal and I guess the A50 does do better bokeh than the A9, but the extra options do come in handy in ideal light situations.
I have used these phones extensively, and they really did improve the A9 2018 from a crappy camera to a quite good one! You will also find, in ideal light, that the A9 2018 will render text and book titles better on your bookshelf than the A50/A70. Little things that matter.

There are some phone reviewers saying that exynos 9610 in galaxy a50 is more power efficient than Snapdragon 675. Even though 675 11nm chip it is made up of cortex a76 and a55 cores which are 2 to 3 generation of improvement in performance and efficiency over cortex a73 and cortex a53 cores in the 10nm exynos 9610.

The Samsung Galaxy A70's front camera is not at all good, but other features r just awesome; for me the only problem is the camera of the front but rest r good
