I am thinking between A70 and Xiaomi Mi Max 3. I know the Mi Max 3 has the old chipset SD 636 but I ain't into gaming. Which should I go for and why? Price is not an issue for me.

I am using A17 (2017) model which has exynos chipset.
I settled for this phone after changing nearly 7 phones from various manufacturers in 4 years (HP, Micromax, LG, Sony, Oppo, Vivo, Lenovo) all with same problem of overheating.
I m a hardcore gamer and play games for more than 10 hours a day.
A17 was the best for me, never experienced heating problem or battery drain out. Thought of moving to A70/80. This question puts me back to think again and wait for Exynos phone.

Two times more expensive than mi 8 lite, and processors are approximate value of productive (snapdragon 660 versus 675.) don't stand to pay that kind of money

I own both A50 and A70. A50 has smoother video decoding and sharper display (this may be linked to cinema and photo mode on A50, lacking on A70). Speed is better on A70, this is clear. Photo quality is about the same, but A70 has less hard edges and oversharpening. Dynamic range is good in both cases, thanks to auto HDR -> this is the big plus of those new cameras (skies are never burnt). Battery life is excellent for both cases (last a day without any fear). Bluetooth audio is excellent on both phones, probably thanks to One UI Bluetooth stack (I owned Xiaomi Mi8 and audio Bluetooth was not that good with same headphones).

Yesterday I ran antutu on My A70 and it reports the cpu as SM6150 . not 675 as samsung says and front and back cameras both reported as 8mp. Please can gsmarena or someone explain?

I just bought and returned it.
The camera shots are vrey blurry. It doesn;t even feel like a 32 mp camera. Even the videos are pixelated. The portrait mode is very awfull for some pictures. And the call quality is very poor.
The rest is fine. Screen is nice but very big. And build quality seems good but the photos are...awfull. I am very very disappointed.

That's a terribly good phone with slightly poor fingerprint sensor nicely crafted you have to remove protective plastic on the front if really want to use the biometrics other it comes with a 6gb /128gb normal version no other version has been spotted may be for Russia the screen colors are OK but a little dimmer from s10/+ but 1/3rd the price but that won't disappoint you.
