Hi! Try Factory Reset / wipe cache partition, or investigate, which app drains battery or which app is to blame for it. and.. uninstall all unnecessary bloatware from samsung or google or social networks.

My phone is having serious heating issues it suddenly heats up and drains my battery phone even when I'm not using it and data is completely turned off. It'll just heat up and consume battery

My A70 got a black screen after 10 months.
Corona started, no quick repair possible. OK.
I called the main office, got a repair number.
Now the warranty is void.
Why?
This IP68 waterproof phone has liquid inside?!!!!
I never watered it.
Nice customer service, but incompetent technician.
Samsung?
NEVER AGAIN!!!

Has any one with A70 gotten the One UI 2.1 or 2.5 updates yet? Because some of the A series has already gotten One UI 2.1 or 2.5 update
Example is the A50, A30, A20 etc
Dont know why Samsung is delaying with the One UI 2.1 or 2.5 update on the A70

Unless you got this phone for free, please do not consider buying one at this time. Do not get me wrong, this phone for it's price was a good one (here I dare say wonderful) but you need to have in mind that this device is almost 2 years old. If we know something about phones is that after sometime we have battery degradation and even if you have a new A70 now, rest a assured that the battery is not as it was when the phone came in the beginning. Not even A71 I would not consider buying, wait for A72. One more thing, whatever galaxy phone you may buy please pick one that has snapdragon processor.

after using an A30 for a year, I just got an used like new condition A70. What a wonderful phone, what a huge upgrade. Its a diferent animal. Cant compare both phones. The A70 doesnt lags and is fat and smooth, with huge beautiful display. It feels very light though, like it feels fragile. I will get protective gear on it for sure.

Use it since June 2019. I think it's too big... In my opinion they could make it with a smaller screen 6.2" and thicker to preserve 4.5A battery capacity. Battery performance is an average, better than my previous S5, perhaps once i start to use GPS and SATNAV for the bike riding it drains battery quite quickly.
