Well, it is a very good phone and previously, it had not given me any issues since I got it.
However, yesterday, I woke up to find that the screen was blank, but the phone was still on because it was the alarm clock on it that woke me up.
There was no incidence. The phone never fell, never touched water, nothing.
I checked online and found that a few other users reported same issue. It was even referred to as the black screen of death.
I will take it to a Samsung service centre tomorrow to get it checked. Hopefully, it would be a minor issue.

Samsung A70 and A71 (upcoming) rocks. A51 is also not bad. Do not ever trust the useless chinese companies.

After a while everything feels good
The wifi is pretty slow.
Will get another one if they fix the wifi antenna

A70 is a super hit model. Go ahead and buy the high end variant (128 GB intetnal memory and 8 GB RAM model) of this phone and enjoy this Pongal 2020.

I know that mid rangers don't get a lot of... moreyou comparing a70 to a30 and a50 doesnt mean anything. theyre different models. you should already know that updates also depend on launch date and the date of the first update it recieved. also worth mentioning that updates on the phone are given on different date depending on your geographic location (like India getting the updates weeks or even months before i get it here in SEA and i dont even give a sht about it).

Careless people stop crying like a little baby. Samsung is not for Careless people. It's for matured people not babies. I've been using my a7 2018 for the past 1 year and no single fault.

HI, I USED THE PHONE 6 MONTH NOW. Dual sim, 8gb Ram, NFC...... Superior Phone..... Battery as strong and durable as me.... But the fingerprint sensor is not ok. When I first used the phone it was not ok, about 3 months later one of the updates improved the fingerprint scan function indeed... it WAS really good. I think it was end of November when I received another update which also contained a "fingerprint Improvement", this one rendered the sensor useless really....
