They might have intentionally made it slower, because I've been wondering, it's the same Optical fingerprint scanner with Xiaomi, why is A70 different.The On-screen fingerprint is much better now compared to earlier updates. And i think they can do more on next update.

Samsung knows what it is doing by giving you A70. The price difference with S10 plus is enormous. Mid range is mid range, dont expect more

Using this phone for 4 months now, I have seen no fault with it, but got disappointed upon realising that there are variations in the A70 for every continent. I was searching for the auto recording feature through YouTube videos and following same process I couldn't find the feature in my phone. My question is why will samsung vary same model for Africa or is it that we as Africans dont want to keep some records of our call. VERY DISAPPOINTING

After October update fingerprint scanner work very fast and accurate I think 90-95% more fast as compared to earlier unlocking speed,Now I think Samsung intentionally made it work to slow so it looks too inferior as compared to flagship (not claiming anything just a thought )

This is one of the best mid-range smartphone anyone can buy. The only problem I had was the fingerprint lags, and slow system update. With the Sept 1 security patch update, Samsung has really improved in the fingerprint, its very fast now compared to former update, and overall performance is also great. But i think Samsung can do better in Next update.

chirogan, 30 Sep 2019Have you tried the Dolby atmos feature in the drop down menu? Yes. No use. A9 pro 2016 does not have any chip. But still gives good bass effect (less than Samsung Note 4).

Get another phone from another brand. Disappointing cell reception, this is a mobile phone samsung, not a tablet. My J8 had better coverage

I am using Samsung A9 pro 2016 and Samsung Note 4 SM-910G along with A70. The bass effect of the A70 (when used with Sony MDR-XB70AP or MDR-XB75AP earphones) is none when compared to A9 pro 2016 and Note 4. This is really frustrating.

After deleting it I successfully added 1 fingerprint but in the lock screen it always show "The fingerprint sensor is not responding please try again later". I deleted my new fingerprint and try to add a new one but it always shows "The fingerprint sensor is not responding please try again later". Already wiped partition cache the problem still persists

i play pubg on this mobile, but i cannot get the maximum resolution it always states that ultra hd is coming soon and stuff, but the a50 device lets it to go the maximum reso, can i know the reason anyone pls?

I bought it last month. everything is quite satisfying except: Touch screen sensitivity. I use it to play PUBG. Much more difficult to aim (compared to previous cellphones). Don't expect to press the firing button until 1 set of ammo. It happens many times and before you realize it, you got killed.
I have updated according to the solution I got from the internet, but the results were still unsatisfactory.
Still waiting if there's any progress in the next update.
