    The 9 pro screen is hardly good while A71 has a great oled screen. Also miui can have some annoying bugs sometimes, while one ui is better overall.
    If there's a considerable price difference, then go for the note 9 pro, A71 is not that much better.

            Is there anyway to have scheduled on/off in A71? All my other phones had it. They used to switch off night 11.30 PM and switch on back at 6 AM

              Samsung's upper midrange devices like the A71 actually also get good update support. Not the fastest or the longest support, but certainly nowhere near as bad as LG's, Oppo, Vivo and other China made phones and Mediatek based devices.

              Now if you take software update out of the picture, the A71 is miles ahead of the Pixel 4a. The A71 can have GCam and it works on the ultrawide camera as well which the Pixel 4A (ultrawide camera) doesn't have. The A71 also has a bigger, better, superb color, full screen Amoled screen display which is much better compared to the Pixel 4A's display. The A71 also has 4500mAh, long lasting battery which charges 25watts (superfast charging) which the Pixel 4a only has 3140mAh and 18 watts quick charge only. The A71 also has true dual SIM with dedicated micro SD card slot for up to 1TB storage expansion (soon 2 TB). There's none of both on the Pixel 4a which offers only 128 GB internal storage only (too small for frequent 4K video recording). The A71 also allows screen sharing of offline Netflix downloads. Pixel phones disabled screen sharing of DRM encoded content. Google wants you to buy a Chromecast instead and be permanently connected to the internet. Pixel phones ignore offline downloads. In Pixel phones, DRM encoded content are only viewable on the phone screen. Not so with the Samsung A71 which allows screen sharing of offline downloads, even those with DRM protected content like Netflix. The A71 also has FM radio, 960fps super slo mo and 4K selfie video. None on the Pixel. Then you can get a Snapdragon 730G with 8GB of RAM option and even a 5G option for the A71. None of those options on the Pixel. To top it off, both phones (A71 and Pixel 4a) have near identical prices - 25 eur price difference only with the A71 costing slightly more (it's much cheaper now though).

                walid, 11 Aug 2020i'm going to buy A71 , is it a good phone ?No. Don't buy. It makes you made when it is on the table and you what it quickly to open using your pointing finger but it does not work and then you remember you have to pick it up with another hand in order for it to work. This will make you crazy after some time as it does to me.

                            This or the pixel 4a? I don't care about size or battery (pixel 4a is good enough) but I like that the pixel has more updates. However Samsung has features I use like floating windows. I am looking to keep it for ideally 3 to 4 years. Also I really don't care about the useless cameras on a71, I don't like that it has no ois and my current a8 2018 with no ois takes very blurry photos if your not steady. This is another reason why I would prefer the pixel. However I like the a71 design more and both cost about the same. Not considering anything else because oxygen os 11 doesn't look that good for the Nord and I don't like any other software like miui or anything.

                                walid, 11 Aug 2020i'm going to buy A71 , is it a good phone ?its a good phone for daily use with nice cameras even it came with no RAW photos. Also i noticed that this phone is not supporting adobe rush and I don't know why. You will need to take care of this device because it lacks water and dust proof, but you can use a cover and screen protector which are included fortunately. I also noticed that the audio system on this device is not the best.. mic, speaker and earphones are medium quality. The vibrator is not the best too it looks like an older technology.

                                I like the screen and the battery which lasted longer than I expected. I also like how smooth this phone is.. its snappy and fast. For it's current price I think it's worth buying specially for someone who don't want to spend 300% more money on a flagship.

Its more than enugh for daily using , taking photos and videos, social media and the battery will last longer than you expected. How ever it lacks some features like water and dust proof, no RAW photos, microphone , headphones abd loud speaker are not the best and I notice that sometime the OS just stuck for seconds. But for its current price I think its a good choice for anyone who don't want to buy a high priced flagship.
