A71 is still using one ui2.0 whiles A51 is using one ui2.1. They have time for their exynos chip phones more than the Qualcomm snapdragon chip phones which is really bad.

Anonymous, 05 Jul 2020Just reboot your phone when that happens and it will resolv... moreI have the the same problem, but also problems with the screen, when the brightness is low I see burned areas and green-pink tints, the same like S20+ wich I returned and I said, ok, I want a phone till Samsung solve the problems and then I will buy again S20+, but I see that Samsung began to make very bad jokes with us, so I think I will go for OnePlus. Doesn't matter S20+ or A71, both of phones are getting warm, have bad screens, problems with gost touches, and also charging problems. It's unacceptable !
PS: I use Adobe Lightroom for editing my photos and export time takes longer on S20+ with Exynos 990 than this A71 with Snapdragon 730, oh my, now when I remind that I read that Snapdragon 845 beats Exynos 990 sometimes and I thought is a joke, bow I think it's not a joke.

Phone has slow updates. UK Unlocked is stuck on April patch in July, while middle east is stuck on January patch. Meanwhile last years a50 is on July patch.

I am annoyed as hell thinking of selling it i think the problem is with phone not charger because I tried other fast charges but doesn't seem to work

Socks, 03 Jul 2020Poco F2 Pro has very flawed MIUI software that's so bl... moreThe bloat and ads are actually not as bad as purported to be. I have yet to see an ad. But yes, MIUI can be quirky. One UI is still is a better skin overall but MIUI also has its advantages - its the best in extensive theming bar none, and the smoothest and most fluid interface around even for phones with low end processors, so much more when the processor is flagship level.

That's why I advise that teen to go for iPhone 11 pro max or Samsung S20 ultra 5G & don't compromise for anything less.

I own both phones except that the Poco F2 Pro that I have is the more expensive 256GB version. The Poco F2 Pro is a MUCH, MUCH better phone overall for the price in terms of build quality, camera and video performance, screen, and gaming performance. It has a much better screen (punch hole free, HDR+ compatible) and has bigger battery (and faster charging too!) than the Samsung A71.
However, the A71 can do many things the Poco F2 Pro can never do: expand storage up to 1 TB and encrypt the expanded storage, screen share offline Netflix movie downloads to big screen TV's, choose and connect to the user selected LTE bands only, share a hotspot with hidden hotspot name, and play FM radio, no LTE data needed.
In the end, it's all about what you value more and which features you are willing to give up in exchange for others.
As for me, my Poco F2 Pro is my main phone now while the Samsung A71 is my backup phone.

Brands and image rule their world and they confuse between real vs. perceived performance and value. They have that burning desire to be 'in' with their rich friends and classmates; to belong with them and to be identified with the rich (and pretending to be rich) iPhone and iPad toting demographic who are popular in school for owning a $1000++ iPhone. In the meantime, their dads pay for their luxuries and tuition fees while themselves (their dads) settle with an upper midrange android phone like the Samsung A71. Kids...
