Does anyone have the battery drain issue. Even without using mobile 3 to 4% drain in every hour .
Also using battery protection charge to 85% .

Really solid phone. 2.5 years dpwn the line, still perfirms well gpt upgrades for Android 12 and 13, battery still lasts whole day, solid camera and screen. Only thing lacking is 120hz. When I upgrade it'll be either A7x series or S series.

i love this phone. it is durable and i have been looking for a plan to add it to. our plan changed from sprint to att . hated t mobilre svc. looking for a company where i can bring this phone

Viper, 19 Feb 2023first of all.. A71 was never available in 2019.. get your f... moreSorry my mistakes about the year. But for the problem, it really happen to me. Never said its a bad phone. Overall it still one of the best.
Never failed me except for the signal reception.
(I working mostly in remote area, and mediatek is a must for signal in my case)

A71 was never available in 2019.. get your fact rights, before commenting... for the rest complaints.. never happened on my A71, and is almost 3 yrs since i bought it, the phone works as charm, as the first day, charging, screen brightness on daylight or under the sun and so on...

My Antutu (Ver 9.4.4) Score is 282612. Storage left was 13%. So that's why a lower score i guess

I have this phone since 2019. Let me list what I face
1. It wont charge - I tought hardware problems, but after a few update, this problem is clear
2. Signal receiver - its really weak except you live at big city. This receiver problem also happen with wifii. It wont be able to fix no matter what.
3. Speaker and mic - It suddenly low by it self when you make a call or in meeting. After a few updates, this problem will still exist but not as much as before.
4. Screen - hard to see in bright daylight (no problemo other than this).
5. Camera - need a lot of light if you want a good pict.
6. Game - I am not use my phone for game, but its good enough for play PUBG. If you want to play game, just buy other phone.
7. I use my phone for editing pict, social media, meeting, etc ... mostly takes max 5,5 ram consumption, and have no problem at all
Conclusion :
- still good enough, not perfect, but good eniugh for me

Do you think the 5.1 update will fix the issues made by android 13 update? After the update my a71has an issue of a vertical white line in the screen.

My loudspeaker volume reduces automatically while watching videos even though its at max volume. Noticed that it happened after the update. Need to close the youtube app and reopen to get high volume but again the volume reduces again shortly.

2 years of continuous use (and games like call of duty mobile or real racing 3 occasional ) and still no problem. Good phone, although I limited the battery charge to 85%. But it is a good choice.
