So the specs here says the phone can record 60fps and higher at 720/1080p. But when I look at it, it doesn't record the video at 60fps even though I switched to 1080p. Why is that?

Just because I criticize the A71's punch hole doesn't mean I don't like the phone as a whole and I am not a fan of the A71 or a handful of other Samsung phones. Just because I like the Poco F2 Pro's all screen display doesn't mean I like everything about the phone or like all Xiaomi phones as a whole. I actually hate the lack of micro sd expansion in flagship Xiaomi phones. I HAVE THE RIGHT TO CRITICIZE FLAWS and I criticize them as I see fit! --- even in the phone brands I own for years like the V20! However, I also appreciate good things about them as well and actually encourage others why this or that feature in this or that phone are worth considering.
And yes, I also recommend other phones I don't own or don't plan on ever owning and likewise criticize other phones I own or don't own regardless of brand if they have something I consider undesirable. I'm not a brand fanatic and a brand loyalist like you. I buy a phone based on specs and price:performance ratio and your distorted perception due to brand fanaticism is not helping users of the A71 here.

I'm planning on buying it soon so I have a question. If I install a screen protector(not the plastic one, glasd one I think?) will the under display fingerprint sensor still work? I saw a video where it worked so is that true?

If you lose Google Playstore, then you have a Chinese ROM and it should explain all sorts of problems you are experiencing. Otherwise, if you have the real global version with untampered OneUI official Samsung ROM, your A71 is likely refurbished/used or defective. Have it replaced or refunded.

This is the worst phone ever. My youtube, samsung Internet and many other apps too won't work. My speaker is broken. Bluetooth will not connect sometimes. If i put head phones in my headphone jack they will not work half of the time. I don't recomend buying this piece of garbage. This phone is so laggy and all. Sry I'm not a native speaker so if I wrote Something incorect pls dont attack me

I can never unsee it and have been trying to use adb commands to force all apps to use full screen including the punch hole area to no avail. It's the only thing that makes the phone display less than perfect. If it were all screen with pop out camera like the Poco F2 Pro, I certainly wouldn't be buying the Poco F2 Pro especially since the Poco F2 Pro is crippled without a micro sd slot and I hate phones without dedicated micro sd expansion.

TFM, 04 Jun 2020This device only negative punch hole little high A51 perfect lookYes, that punch hole is the one thing I hate about the A71. I want to force apps to ignore it by I can't. The A71 screen is an otherwise gorgeous almost all screen display except for the punch hole area that don't get utilized at all by most apps, wasting so much space. Hopefully, a software update will enable the user to have an option to force all other apps to utilize the punch hole space. If not, I'm definitely buying a phone with a punch hole free and notch free display. (I absolutely like the perfect hole-free, notch-free, almost bezel-free, all screen Poco F2 Pro display with that super durable pop out selfie camera.)

It's an optical scanner, so when you want to set your finger as biometric, don't place your finger horizontally, always keep it vertical during the scan and instead of place it horizontally, just rotate your finger as it shows in the little help video above it and scan all parts of your finger.
After the scan completed, now you're free to place your finger in any direction you want to unlock the phone
