I've been using the a71 since june 2020 and i had no problems until last month I had a lot of problems like the battery going from 25% to 2% and extreme heating issues also alot of apps keep closing like 5 seconds after i open them.
Has anyone experienced these issues with their a71 and if you have can you help me please

April security patch available for download weighing 219.79MB, so far no issue after the update.

I had this heat issue after 11 android update, the phone start heating after several time and i'm not a heavy user, and it happen also when i charging the phone

Has anyone had problems with charging? Like the phone suddenly stops charging and there is nothing you can do just sent it to repair service. I already sent my A71 two times and they completely change my motherboard and the charging kit...and it starts happening again.

Anonymous, 22 Apr 2021Please help me out I have been having a nagging charging pr... moreI ran into the same issue with my A71, but it had a rather easy fix - the charger plugged into the socket would be loose which would limit the current reaching the phone which is why the battery would charge very slow. Download Accu Battery, and then plug it in to charge, while charging you can see the amount of current flowing into the phone. Adjust the charger in the socket till you see the charging bar turn green in Accu Battery. Hope this helps!

Face ID - Just ... moredon't mislead the things, if your phone have faulty fingerprint like, doesn't mean all others are like yours, the under-display fingerprint so far working without single issue, mind that is not ultrasonic like in flagships, is optical.. but is still doing their job superb, for Face recognition, i never used it, and as far as i know is using the selfie camera for recognizing, A71 doesn't have Iris scanner like their more expensive phones, so can't say anything.. and i think those Anonymous users are just some random peoples who never used any phone, but just killing their boring time.. maybe

Fingerprint sensor - completely USELESS !!
Face ID - Just as USELESS !!
This is like a 2014 phone where you can only unlock using password/pattern.
If fingerprint/face unlock are important to you, absolutely skip this.

2,after dialing *#0228# the battery status menu will popup.
3,hit ( quick start ) at bottom of the screen in red color
4,hit ( yes ) and go to settings/battery and disable fast charging for 1 charge only.
5,power off the phone and charge to 100%.
6,turn on the phone and if it shows 97,98,99 plug in charger again and charge to 100%.
7,once it charge to 100% unplug charger and this will create new battery calibration status automatically. now you can enable fast charge again.

2.) Change to another charging cable
3.) Use another charger
4.) Backup & Factory Reset
5.) Sent to Samsung service centre
Take the above step, if 1. ) failed take step 2.) & so on.

if still not ok reset the phone as a last resort
