I'm waiting for the Mi 10T Pro 5G to be available in a store, is it worth the wait or should I buy the A71? The price of the 10T Pro is 356$ and the A71 is 325$ in the store.

They aren't perfect however and there are things/features that Xiaomi phones can't do that many Samsung phones can (encrypt micro sd storage, ability to choose and lock to specific LTE bands, faster and longer software support, etc.)
Conversely, there are also things/features you can find in Xiaomi phones that are absent in Samsung phones (IR blaster, high refresh rate screens in mid priced phones, bezelless hole free displays, etc.), and Xiaomi phones generally offer better specs (faster processor, better cameras, better build quality, bigger battery, faster charging, etc.) compared to another Samsung phone sold at the same price range. It actually depends on what you want in a phone and which features you value more that will determine if Samsung or Xiaomi will fit your needs better.

but being faster does not always translate it to a better phone

A71 advantages: The A71 has 3 year software support, has dedicated micro SD card slot, can encrypt the micro SD storage, can share Netflix movies wirelessly, can select specific LTE bands you want to lock in to, has 4K selfie video, has more saturated/colorful amoled display with deeper blacks, has Dolby Atmos sound, can share a hidden hotspot, and has under display fingerprint scanner all of which the Mi 10 5G doesn't have.
Advantages of the Mi 10i 5G: Bigger battery, faster charging, IR blaster (master remote), 120Hz refresh rate, 5G (although the A71 also has a more expensive 5G Exynos model), a faster processor and a higher resolution main camera (108 megapixels), better dark mode (can set apps to dark mode individually, even those that don't support it), plus it's cheaper.

i just did some GeekBench5 test and it had good result more than average .. 1784 Multi core and 544 Single core also 1185 compute

i'... moreMy A71 battery has no draining issue, can last me a whole day. Current SOT 2hr with 66% battery balance, unplugged since 6am & my current time 12pm.
