I need an honest suggestion, In my country now A71 and Xiomi Mi note 10 lite are on same price, Although both have almost similar specifications. I have read both reviews in Mi note 10 lite, it's saying alternative is A71 , on the other hand in comments sections both models have their pro and cons, some say note 10 lite have some charging problem etc and for A71 some saying there are also problem like sensors, poor hardware etc. Please anyone guide.

The update is quite good. Battery life has improved, camera is great and others. Still testing it out.

Bought A71 in Aug 2020 . within 3 months charging port is gone. when went to service center asking for 15 days to replace the port. not reliable product

Within 1 month,... moreThe A71 has a flat screen with Gorilla glass 3 and has a plastic back that absorbs impacts/shocks better, so it will actually be more resistant to breakage from accidental drops without the screen breaking for as long as its in its case (there's a free case with every purchase). If you broke its screen, it must be some really freak accident on some rocky, uneven surface. It's either that, or you were just really super careless. As regards the battery, it's actually one of the longest lasting ones with 2 days or so even under heavy use so if your unit has terrible battery life that doesn't last half a day of light use, it's probably a defective, used, or tampered unit. Have it replaced with a sealed box, brand new unit.

Please replyA51 & A71 5G is the "S" variant, but too bad many countries doesn't have 5G, so is only available in selected markets.
Anyway A72 is on the way, expect on 2nd quarter 2021

This is the WORST phone I have ever owned. Within 1 month, the screen broke ($300 to fix). Now the battery is defective and keeps suddenly draining. I will never get a Samsung phone again after this horrific experience.

If you need Netflix screen sharing capability and regularly watch DRM encoded content, if you want a better selfie camera with 4K recording, a 5G option for superfast download/upload speeds, manual LTE band selection for the best data speeds, if you want a bright, gorgeous amoled screen that's very saturated, if you want guaranteed 3 year android software updates, if you want much better security with Knox and with no lingering doubts about hidden government backdoors, if you want a faster processor, if you want micro SD card encryption and hidden SSID option, if you want an AD free interface, if you want a more mature operating system that doesn't kill/disable/suspend background apps aggressively causing delays in messaging updates and widget apps that stop from updating, then I can tell you, the Redmi Note 9 Pro is worse. Otherwise, go ahead if you don't care about any of those I mentioned above which the A71 is capable of and does so well that the cheaper Redmi Note 9 Pro can't do.
