I'm considering buying this thing in a week or two. Can someone update me on the battery drain issue and whether it's only happening to devices manufactured in a specific region? If it is, how can I check what region the device I'm buying is manufactured in?
Would appreciate a response by someone who uses this phone and actually knows about this bit.

Standby battery backup not the great with me. i have check my battery stats, the play store eats lot of battery. i hv simply put sleep play store the i hv get the best battery backup. hop it can fix

Actualmente uso A6Plus y mi esposa usa A71, pantalla carga, batería, memoria y el procesador tienen el equilibrio perfecto para usarlo durante 4 años, si el dispositivo cuesta $360 para 4 años seria tenerlo por $90 anual, y seguro lo vas a poder vender

This is what i like about Samsung they keeping the Card slot and 3.5mm jack like other brand ditched it.

You should... moreTotally agree with you i had Samsung S9 plus and believe me ip86 not enough some water dropped over the phone and the screen dead,the same experience with note 8 which made me to switch to S9 plus so the iP rating is big lie for me

Be warned, though, ip68 rating is false assurance and false promise. Seals shrink, crack, and become brittle with time and with heat/sun, so seals need regular replacement. Also, water/liquid survival of an ip68 phone is not assured. That's why manufacturers don't honor warranty claims from water/liquid damage even if the phone is rated ip68.

mibi, 01 Sep 2020How much battery % drops on standby ( from night to morning... moreIf you loss more than 2-3% mean you phone had some problems or maybe some apps is draining your battery, check which apps draining your battery under device care, if not because of apps then you need to send your phone to Samsung service centre, probably you end up with a lemon unit.

MOSTAFA, 01 Sep 2020for me about 2:3 %Phone in use for about 3 months.It goes from 100% to 80% in a day on standby,BUT I have blue light filter on,brightes on 10% and gpa turned off.On how I use the phone I do a recharge after 74 hours when battery is 15-30%.On heavy use I suspect it can squeeze 2 full days of work

mibi, 01 Sep 2020How much battery % drops on standby ( from night to morning... more0% - 1% for my A71 with 'Do not disturb' turned on, while its GPS, WiFi, hotspot, mobile data, bluetooth, and always on display are all turned off. This low drain happens only when there are no calls and text messages received while do not disturb is on the whole night.
