Eric, 16 Mar 2022same me tooThat's strange, I almost have a year with this device and I haven't encountered that issue. You should go to Samsung store to report it, hopefully they can help you!

I'm facing fingerprint sensor issues. Sometimes when the screen is full dark, fingerprint sensor emits very little light and it can't read my finger. If I press the power button to turn on the screen, the sensor then emits full light.

This is not consistent, but I do face it time to time.
Anyone facing this issue?? How do I fix this?

Using phone more then 6 month. No issue yet.
But I did not understand the samsung behavior putting pakistan region at end of update even Afghanistan and nigeria got it but not in pakistan. If they did not do this in march and equivalent rights to pakistan I will go to consumer court .

My A72's only about 5 months old. It stopped charging properly a few weeks ago. Kept telling me that the temperature was too cold for charging. I live in a tropical country, for pete's sake. A couple of days ago, the touch screen just stopped functioning as well. Had to do a soft reset every 5 min or so. Finally decided to do a factory reset, but it didn't do squat. Threw the freaking thing hard on the floor out of frustration. Bought myself an A12 (128gb 6gb RAM) yesterday instead. Except for the camera/screen resolution and the non-waterproof body, I'd say it serves my purpose just as well as did the A72, at one third the price.

Anybody can suggest your wise opinion pls. which phone is better buy A71 OR A52s, i like the bigger screen size of A71 but specs wise little better A52s, anybody used both phones can suggest ?

Anonymous, 03 Mar 2022Your complaint is about updates? that's all? Sigh.. B... moreNot exactly. You are right that updates don't always ensure improvement. But they are important. Had it not been the case, the companies would not have blown trumpets by assuring 3-4 years major updates. Even a72 is to receive 3 years updates regardless of samsung's failure to fulfill it in time. I shared my personal experience as I have been using S9 plus and S10 plus. I don't find it as good as my 4 years old S 9 plus. I am not challenging anyone's choice.

Be happy with the quarterly updates. Stop focusing on updates and enjoy the phone. If it has bugs and issues, then you can complain. If everything works fine, be happy. Updates can ruin things sometimes or make it even better.

A72, keeping aside the intricacies and subtleties of its chip and aspects alike, is just an ordinary phone with a price tag that is too high for its specs and performance. Battery life is good but not consistent. Its on quarterly updates. When all 2021 galaxy phones were receiving android 12 with one ui 4, we received october 2021 update in Pakistan and still there is no news of 12 update by the end of Feb. 22022. I still feel more comfortable with my S9 Plus. After 8 months use of a72, I can safely say that buying an A series phone was a mistake. Instead of throwing money on a midrange series phones one should either save money and go for an S series phone even if its used

Still not received android 12 in Pakistan.
