MkRahi, 15 Jan 2022Has anyone received the new OneUI 4.0 update yet? My work phone, A72 has gotten the update. Installed it this morning. So far only things I've noticed; a bit sluggish UI (wasn't exactly perfectly smooth before the update, but now it's noticeably slower in 90 Hz mode), and mobile hotspot seemed not to let other Samsung phone connect, even though I typed the password correctly -> took forever to connect, phones were next to each other. Going to give it a few days to settle, might wipe the phone and start fresh if I notice other issues, or if the UI remains this laggy.

Camera and display performance is satisfactory but processor is quite slow. Samsung has to upgrade processor because others brands provides heavy processor in the same price.

Did anyone notice telephoto camera is no longer active when you switch to 3x zoom? Phone is using main camera up to 15x digital zoom, then at 15x it switches to the telephoto camera.
I think some update did this. It should switch to telephoto camera at 3x zoom, it was like that before some update.
To test this just cover up the telephoto camera (the bottom one) with your finger and use zoom, you will see it uses main camera up to 15x zoom.

Anonymous, 10 Jan 2022You can increase touch sensitivity, perhaps that would help.This is because the samsung a72 has an optical fingerprint sensor, and it may not be able to read through tempered glass or thicker plastic screen protectors

If that doesn't help, do a factory reset.
If that doesn't help, do a warranty claim.
I've had a galaxy S7 drop Wifi in the lockscreen and not receive notifications because of it. Had to send it back.

O am using this phone for almost 7 months now. However, for the last few days I am facing an issue. While on YouTube, Netflix and even while browsing Internet, the Wi-Fi connection drops and I have yo go to settings +connections+search Wi-Fi and then it reconnects. This happens several times a day. None of my family members, connected to the same Wi-Fi, don't face this problem. Even my 3.5 years old S9 Plus never showed this issue and still doesn't. Any advice please.

Fingerprint Issue, 09 Jan 2022Inquiry to Whom Have Experience: I Just Bought the A72 And ... moreMost probably screen protector issue. This phone doesn’t register fingerprints well with screen protectors. I faced the same problem. I registered my fingerprint first then put on a screen protector.
Without screen protector the sensor works fine, with it, only half.
All that being said, you should check the phones sensor before buying.

Inquiry to Whom Have Experience: I Just Bought the A72 And Before I Power It On For the First Time I Installed A Screen Protector. After That When I Tried to Add My On-Screen Fingerprint the Phone Doesn't Complete Reading Percentage (Sometimes to 20%, Another Time to 70% And So On), Then A Message Pops-Up And Tells Me That the Phone Can't Register My Fingerprint And Also to Remove the Tempered Glass Or My Thick Screen Protector And Try Again.. Is This Issue Truly Because of the Screen Protector That I Have Installed Or the Phone Has A Technical Problem And I Should Return It to Samsung Store?!

Isabella, 08 Jan 2022oh... I thought that stabilization was "fixed" si... moreThe Full HD stabilization was fixed. It was bad too, but now at least Full HD works perfectly. For 4K it probably doesn't have enough processor power as was mentioned earlier.
They didn't fix the blueish whites of telephoto camera, however.
