My review of this phone as a technophile resides on the fact that this phone is overall an all-rounder for its price solid cameras, excellent display quality for its price range, good battery life and most of all 4 years of android update. Its my daily driver for quite a long time now and I haven't experienced any major problems with this device except for if you have used flagship before from after 2019 you will miss their strong haptics, the WoW factor and wireless charging/ reverse wireless charging... This phone is quite capable device don't be deceived by people who are treating this phone as a trash. Its very near to flagship experience.

Tyle, 24 Feb 2023Bro 8+128gb is 400 where can u get 350 for thatJust bought one 450 dollars for 8/128. Beautiful Oled screen, fast, and great cameras. GF loves it. Shame there won't be an A74...girls mostly prefer big screen phones, probably because they are glued to their phone 24/24

Camera is avera... moreMy experience is totally different from yours. I have used it for 10 months and here are my thoughts about it.
1. The camera is decent enough, and the ultrawide's output is also better than other competitors, but as usual, do expect some softness at the corner.
2. Video recording is decent enough too, thanks to the OIS which is absent in most competitors. But the quality is just meh similar to other mid-range under low light.
3. For 10 months I have yet to see any stutter or lag when I'm using the phone, but yeah sometimes the fingerprint unlock animation does make it feel slow. Just close it if you mind.
4. The battery life is amazing. Watching social media or video for 1 hour only takes about 5-6%. But charging speed is not something Samsung good at.
5. Screen is more than enough to use, the brightness is bright enough to see everything under the sunlight and the colour reproduction are good too.
6. Signal strength is way better than my previous Xiaomi and Oppo mid-range.
7. The stereo speaker output with Dolby Atmos enabled is nice.
That's it. I personally won't go for Xiaomi again due to the bad user experience it gave me in 2021, bugs and stutters happen frequently. As for Oppo, it's not a brand focused on price to performance ratio but it lacks too many things in the same price range as Samsung. I just can't accept the lack of OIS, stereo speaker and crappy 8mp ultrawide. Not to mention they both lack the IP67, which is something I considered a plus point.

Is SD better in performance vs. Exynos? Never used an Exynos CPU....
How good is the ROM of A53 and A73..? Smooth or lots of bloatware?
Hoping to hear back from the experts. Pros and cons of both?

PS: What would be you're pick? Finance are not an issues but want a smooth clean trouble free phone. Never used a Samsung brand...

This is my review after 8 months of usage:
Camera is average dont expect much. Horrible video recording.
Performance is ok not good, 8gb of ram and 778 chipset should perform better. Sometimes when you switch between apps or unlock your screen you feel like the device is only 2gb of ram and with Helio budget chipset.
Screen is good indoors, under the sun is not bright enough.
No fast Wifi protocol means no matter how fast your home fiber connection your limit is 450mbps.
Battery between fair to good.
The call app is super slow and when you change your wallpaper the phone hangs for seconds.
Slow and painful boot and restart.
I am ok if these things in the budget A23 or A33. But at this price point? Just no. I upgraded from A70 and I have to say the A70 in 2019 was bettter than this.
If you're planning to buy consider other options from Oppo and Xiaomi.
