Anonymous, 23 Apr 2022Well 1 year of security update but TWO Android versions sin... moreyou won't keep the phone for 4 years anyway.. is more marketing trick.. and then after two years Samsung would shift A73 to biannual updates.. and good luck.. you'd wait 6 months from update to update, i own A71 which from few weeks ago got demoted from quarterly updates into biannual.. and same goes for A51, and A71 still haven't Android 12 to this day, not to mention cheaper phones from Samsung already have Android 12 and better software support.. at the end i'll think twice and better if i'm going to buy another Samsung phone

I'm sorry but at 500 euro, the Snapdragon 778g is unacceptable. you can basically get this same phone in the galaxy a52s and m52 for 100-150 bucks less - only difference will be the camera and software updates (you lose 1 year, big whoop). this phone is terrible value

I pre-ordered it yesterday. It comes with a pair of complimentary Galaxy Buds 2. It seems to me like a better phone on paper than its predecessor, Galaxy A72, was at the time compared to its contemporaries. I hope it doesn't disappoint. Either way, it'll be an upgrade over the Mate 10 Lite with the broken knockoff screen that I've been using for the past year or so. Buds 2 does sweeten the deal for me, as well.

Got to test it at the store today and I was pleasantly surprised how light this phone was considering its size. As an Iphone user used to consistent updates, the four years Android support and five years security updates make this a really attractive phone (how consistent is the schedule though? Monthly? Quarterly?). Still on the fence though. This phone retails for 538 USD here (8/128) and the S21 FE is at almost 700 usd. Is it worth the extra money for the S21 FE?

Just traded-in my A72 for the A73. I did it mainly for that 108 camera. A73 can still decently zoom in even without a telephoto lens (which is present in the A72 I traded). Never cared about the headphone jack, so the lack of it in A73 doesn't bother me. The A73 is considerably lighter, I'm gonna have to get used to checking my pocket for it since I always felt the heavy weight of my old A72 in there.
