I am late by one day basically yesterday i received it the latest update of oreo for my samsung galaxy a7 2017. Yes and it is the best update one could get but there is one problem which I have seen well for some it might be an issue but for some i guess it will hardly matter but yes over all the update is the best must see some channels on the youtube alot of improvements has been done over the phone specially my fav is the aod they have changed it like u can get your aod display your style by selecting some good aod from the theme section plus the features which were stopped in the previous version have been enabled in this also the camera quality and accessories in it have been enhanced further what i am not liking is the battery drain by just 1 and i.e. the cell standby it is consuming a good amount of battery when the phone is in a standby mode. like right now itself it says battery usage: 25% of total app (979 mah) ah not to mention there is a 0 app activity at the background which is running i have closed every one of them. even by going inside the secure folder in the apps and system app the all background data usage has been stopped and still the loss of the battery is killing the whole fun of oreo. i have been reading some good vlogs on the internet and there are tons of issues over here which i can see. At one place a person says try *#*#4636#*#* well nothing works even tried doing this on a truecaller i am guessing samsung has removed this feature. I have even gone to an extent of removing the partition from the system but no the problem still persists now i leave it upto u all.

Finally got Oreo in India, that's all number of msg. And miss call do not appear on top of the app icon after clear notification list.

Ayyappan, 22 May 2018They mentioned in the manual that it won't work together. Pls what manual cause I'm using 2 sims and a SanDisk 64gb microsd with no issues

Oreo update is available in India (via OTA). Check for software updates manually!!!

Oreo update available in India with may security patch through smart switch Size 2712mb, still not available through live update.
