Please note many offers on the internet are for used/refurbished/returned/display phones, while a few rare cases are sales of special editions; also you can find many variants, specially with more or less RAM / storage memory, colors, etc. Those things can change the price based on demand.

But it is a TRICKY question...
Pixels alone don't make a good camera. Has it Optical Stabilization? Optical Zoom?
Are the sensors good under different light conditions? Fast shutter to get movement?
What about the lens, f1.7, f2.0, f2.2 ? Refraction free? Reflection free?
Do all these stand time/use without distortion? What about temperature / humidity?
The pixel count is relatively close: 16-13=3 Mega Pixels, that is 23% more but not necessarily better. And you need to check how those pixels are arranged (shape, size, density) and the material / fabrication methods.

Camera? If so, forget the A7 2017, the 2016 model was much better.
CPU performance? GPU for games? None of those are A7's strong suit.
Build quality? Design? That is where this guy shines, and it is water proof too!

Mine always work like a charm: Lightning fast to 50% and a little more to 80%, always completed 100% without a glitch, it doesn't even warm up. Battery life isn't outstanding but at least it stands the same after nine months use.

Some people say it needs a steady hand, proper light and give the thing some time to work, but that make it useless for most real world photos. Front camera is near useless for close-up shots as back (main) camera is poor for details due the lens. All my other phones had better cameras, even if lower pixel count: Galaxy S2 and J7, even LG Magna. Yes, it has 16MP but takes shots in old 1x1 square format, not widescreen! And no useful effects / features in camera software too. Control menu is too clumsy/slow to use in a hurry. The front (selfie) camera is also 16MP but really lower quality compared to the main (back) unit. The single flash in back is mediocre and front has none. For such a price, the only good thing is the water proof and quality build.

If u are searching for the best camera among three of the phones, Samsung galaxy a7 2017 is the best. It come with 16mp primary camera & 16mp secondary camera.

Had mine for 9 months. Good look, build and performance. Here's my opinion:
First, camera is bad. Stabilization and focus are faulty and pictures are 1x1 square format, not widescreen (good if you miss the old Polaroids). But my J7 2017 did better.
Second, battery is good under "normal use". Always On Display is cool and handy but disable it or use quick charge as you go. As far as you don't play games too much and power outlets are available, battery is no big deal.
Third, it is well made but not a tough guy. Curved sides on display make glass shields useless; I found good flexibles. Droped once from car seat to rock ground while using soft TPU/silicon case and shield, no damage. Diped in the kitchen sink for a minute (under the tap running water), no damage. Sturdy, for a glass covered looker gadget...
In my opinion, it is an overpriced mediocre phone with an unreliable camera that can ruin that good/important shot. Also it is full of locks and bloats, allows only Samsung's themes and wallpapers unless you use apps, the default wp selector is restricted - wow! and takes long to see updates.
Conclusion: Not buying Samsung again any time soon, that's too much for the price and if needed, they won't repair my phone here because it was bought during a trip to another country. So it's global market, with boundaries, like DVD's.
This Christmas I looked to Motorola, Xiaomi, etc. and ordered my next phone... No Sammy.

Ridiculous problem while charging... Everything is good, one of the best phones but while charging it will get stop/stuck on 88% or 90% and will take ages to go further... Changing it tomorrow with J7 Pro, no need of such thing which gives u problems...
