        This phone is on offer at USD 272 where i live. Is it a good buy at that price? Im already aware of issues like no fast charger & camera being ordinary. But at this price b is it justified?

          For Several Years , I Had A Samsung S3 Mini About 8 Years Now And It's Going To Die Soon
          hhhh , So I Distracted About Many Mobiles To Buy , And I need Your Advice To Have Wich
          Of These :
          1 - Samsung Galaxy A7 (2018) .
          2 - Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite .
          3 - Xiaomi Mi 8 .
          4 - Oppo F9 .
          5 - Huawei nova 3 .
          * Or Should I Wait For The :-
          1 - Samsung Galaxy A6s . And 2 - Samsung Galaxy A9 (2018) .
          - Like What I Said , I Want Strong Body And Components , Strong Processor , Cameras
          Depend On The Events At Night And Day , Good And Speed Performance , Receiving

            Anonymous, 22 Nov 2018s8Yesterday I had to setup new Samsung S8 for a colleague. It took me the whole day to fill it with apps and set all their options but I still took my time to play with it.

            I found that A7 have better gps, like mine can see 22 satellites and use 16 of them in compare to S8 seeing 17 satellites and using 10 of them. But as far as I know you need only 4 to get positioning and etc. Well, the S8 manage to lock position coordinates faster, 4 seconds for S8 and 7 seconds for A7.
            The software is 1:1 with A7 with the only difference - you can choose few colors for the navbar. But the option to make it hidden and to still be working is not there. The screen was little bit brighter at 100% brightness.
            Well if you count the things that for some people are really important like usb type C, fast charging, better cpu, IP68 then yes, S8 is the better choice.
            As I see it the practical real difference was the camera. But S8 being double the price of A7 (in my country) there is not a sane reason to go for it, at least for me.
            Oh yes, it`s insanely slippery. It`s beautiful but but if you go and buy it better put some cover on it the same day.

            ps. I have reprogrammed the bixby button to the flashlight, because it doesn work with our language anyway so it was better to repurposed it. I used Bixby Remapper app ( https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.phascinate.bixbybuttonremapper&hl=en )for that, it alows to make the button many other things too. She was very happy about it. :D

                a lot of fake reviews are posted here, they do not actually have the item. samsung is samsung (quality) made in vietnam not china . i have this samsung device for just only 100 dollars (samsung galaxy core prime) up till now its still good for almost 6 years just imagine that. recently i bought a7 2018 so far so good there is no heating issue like the others told even if i played games (there is a little bit of heat but not that an issue its normal you know), super smooth, face unlock even in the dark and fingerprint sensor is really accurate love the themes wallpapers icons although not all are free, plus the super amoled screen is really really great. yeah poco, honor play have this flagship processor but lets see who will lasts longer when it comes to quality & durability? poco and honor is a chinese brand plus its made in china, honestly i really dont like chinese phone based on my experience.

                      Wow, indeed for the first time I am in love with Sumsung midrange phone. This is a great phone in every sense that can very much keep up with the competition. Great phone with the best of price.

                        The answer is no.
                        Very stupid decision, which is remedied by using the option "always on display" (consuming battery).
                        I rely on the option 'smart alert' - the phone vibrate when picked after missing calls or receiving messages. Well there is also options for screen blinks and flash blinks but nothing can replace working led notification. I see this as purposed function mutilation.

Among the many reviews in the net I have watched one in youtube from an indian man using digital thermometer and the max temperature on the hottest spot was something like 45* Celsius. Let see if I can find the video.

                              MadVil01, 21 Nov 2018Specifically w.r.t. camera and video use: Which one is the ... moreOh, that I can tell you because I was looking at few reviews with raw shots between them. Huawei is way better. Like crazy better, especially on night shots.

                              as you can see while the A7 is lighter the detail from huawei is way, way better. There are many more comparable shots between the two phones in that review.
                              TLDR;
                              huawei have better camera at least for photographs, I didn`t look how good is for video.

                              The reason why I didn`t like huawei was that there was many reported problems (in my country) with the screen going yellow at large spots in the first few weeks, f*n ridiculous. I chose not to risk it and got A7. Either way I use my Canon for shooting so it`s not a real problem for me.

                                But then again I`m not using any social media like f-book, insta and such.
                                Be noted that this is with constant 50% screen brightness. (auto turned off)

                                      Finally bought the A7 (2018) 6GB/128GB variant.... Using it since 1 week... Found it really good. No issues at all. Fabulous phone with amazing features. Not faced any issue till now. Cameras are working superbly. No heating problem. Yes, lacking the fast charging but OK. Battery support (3300 mAh) is good (i don't play games :)) So, overall it's a good experience using the Samsung A7 (2018).

                                        Specifically w.r.t. camera and video use: Which one is the best between Samsung Galaxy A7 (2018) or Huawei Mate 20 Lite?
