Worst camera (I have compared with Xperia XA which is more than two years old, that has got a good camera)
If you zoom, you can see a water colour kind of picture
Performance is good, but inferior to stock android phone with SDM 636
Free RAM available is close to 1/1.2 GB only
Pros

UI is good
A set of useful apps, some are bundled and some are available for download, especially S-secure, File manager, etc.
Side finger print scanner is very much useful and convenient. It is a major highlight compared to other phones
Display is good, but object colour vary from actual color, especially while viewing photos and videos
Conclution

Very cute phone with very good design (Better than S-series and Note-series)
Worst camera (that to 24 MP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)

smita, 16 Oct 2018Samsung galaxy a7 is best phone as compare to Huawei Mate 2... morespecs of a7 2018 is better than pricier a6+, and near a8 territory.
but look at the price? its close to j7 pro pricing (2017) but improved in all aspects (no usb c and no fast charger are intentional - part of product segmentation - thats a9 territory)
this is best buy!
Chinese brands may have better specs. but samsung strenghts is beautiful SUPERAMOLED + intuitive samsung UI with optimization. samsung tweaks are very detailed which are very functional vs stock.
im no longer desperately looking for vanilla.
here in the Philippines, it is priced 333 usd.
free JBL FLIP 3 BT speaker during pre-order period. not bad!
