The device is 7.9mm thin while A8+ is 8.4mm with 3500mah battery! In A7 2016 they used 13mp camera with OIS. But last two version of A series they didn't use OIS technology and then we are not getting better images like A7 2016. Everything of Samsung is eyewash. So, these option should be improved. Otherwise, I must switch to another brand dear Samsung!

Anonymous, 23 Aug 2018Is Nokia 7 plus better from a8 plus... in battery n camera Nokia 7 Plus is better than Samsung Galaxy A8 Plus is terms of Chepset,Camera ,2 years Android updates and 3years monthly security updates,battery almost equal in both devices.Nokia 7 Plus Orio 8.1.0 out of the box A8 Plus Nought 7.1.1 out of the box.

hi Guys, hows is the signal reception on this phone? I live in a weak signal area....
I was torn between Nokia 7 plus and A8 plus (2108)...am leaning towards the A8 plus because of the Nokia 7 plus touchscreen issues...

Waiting for A8+ 2019 version. Hope camera will be OIS and bezel will be reduced than current version. Should be thinner than 2018. Might have gorilla glass 5 on both sides.Quick carger 4, snapdragon processor 8 or equivalent to exynos. Price should be under 450 USD.
