the A8+ infinity display on a flat display looks much uglier than the ones on curved display (s8/s9/note8)

C7 Pro r... moreCan't really believe you... A8+ does have a better camera. Both have almost similar sensors, but the A8+'s wider aperture helps it in low light conditions. Also, you get dual front cameras in the A8+.
C7 pro does not have stereo speakers. It has a single bottom firing speaker.
Both have similar AMOLED displays.
And I find it extremely weird you don't talk about the much faster processor found in the A8+.. Exynos 7885 is a lot more faster than SD626
Also, A8+ has IP68 protection, C7 pro doesn't.
This alone proves you don't have an A8+. You don't even talk about the real advantages the A8+ has over the C7 pro.

I have Samsung C7 Pro, i compared both phones,
C7 Pro rear camera much better and clearer than A8+
General app speeds almost same, A8+ not faster
C7 Pro battery stands longer than A8+
C7 Pro has stereo speakers, if you block main speaker with finger, you can still hear from another one on top of phone
C7 Pro lighter and much slimmer than A8+
C7 Pro total brightness much better than A8+
C7 Pro shows real time network speed which is attractive for a midrange phone but A8+ don't have this option.
A8+ able to use microsd same time with dual sim
A8+ bezel-less but not much
A8+ must be Android 8.0 or 8.1 to become more attractive but not..
Generally C7 Pro running Android 7.0, better and cheaper phone than A8+
I dunno why but Samsung didn't pay much attention to their best midrange phone this time. I totally dislike A8+

It's just you didn't do your homework before posting your baseless comments. A9 Pro has a toaster of a CPU called the Snapdragon 650, which is old and very inefficient. The rear camera has OIS, but smaller aperture than the A8 and no PDAF, also lacks dual front cameras. Yes, phones get old over time. That's why people don't buy old phones. #CommonSense

This smartphone is a good enough for middle class standard.but samsung should reconsider for the price...while the samsung galaxy A8 is going to sink against the honor v 10 by the price and software...neither this samsung galaxy A8 plus is also going to sink against oneplus 5 T or even worse if the huawei mate 10 and 10 pro as rivalry for neck to neck pricetag and their latest software..hope samsung will realize the situation and reconsider to lower the price or losing your customer that support this brand for such long time..tQ
