Very good phone at this price, runs very well on marshmallow too. Battery life is good gives me a day on moderate usage, camera quality is good too. Love to watch live sports and movies on this giant screen.

It's a treat to watch movies on its massive screen, battery life is good, performance is butter smooth and camera is great.

Camera is worst. ...color reproduction are very bad....dull color ....Ind ady light over exposure is main issue and green trees colors are like overexposed and color less .....samsung cheated me...I think samsung pays heavy bribery to online marketing to write positive reviews...

I have used many phones like iPhone 4s, Galaxy Grand, LG, Lenovo, HTC.
But Galaxy A8 is so far the best value for money.
Amazing phone !
Those who want a big screen, should go for A8.

my phone is good but My voice is breaking regularly and all the people to whom I call regularly complain that the voice is breaking continuously. I have changed both sims in slot 1 and slot 2. Changed the sims from AIRTEL to BSNL and VOdafone to AIrtel and changed the sims from the Service provider thrice. Even then there is no improvement,
I had reset the settings, reset the call setting, reset the factory settings, but no use.
This problem i am facing in my house and office also. Finally i had decided to purchase a new set. I went to service centre there they said there is no problem and continuously set in 3G only not in 4G. I stay in Pune.
Can anybody help me.

The only downside in this phone is it takes ages to charge which is quite irritating over 4 hours even from 22-100% which is quite surprising. Even though I got fast charger with this phone but this one doesn't support fast charging so it's kinda useless.

This is a superb phone in terms of design and performance. Watched 2 movies back to back without any problems, no black screek issues, camera is awesome can compete with other flagships out there. In a nutshell a complete value for money.

Samsung is charging too much for this phone and provides only 2 gb ram
Other brands provides 3gm ram with high processors starting with 11000 and samsung is charging 25000 for 2gb ram

Haven't faced any such issues regarding screen getting black, even my brother's J7 (older version) works fine after Marshmallow update.
