    I have seen different models of the Galaxy A8 which one is the official or what is the difference? please help.
    SAMSUNG GALAXY SM-A800S/ A8 SM-A800YZ / SM-A800YD/ SM-A800F/ SM-A800FD
    Which one is official which one clone or what is the difference because the price difference between SM-A800S and the rest is more than double.

          I got this three days ago and I like the display - good colors. Camera is better than the Samsung Note II (which I replaced with this). The battery does not overheat and I love the feel of this phone in my hand. User friendly.

              Julz, 20 Oct 2015My phone shuts down wen battery has 3% life :( Never leave your phone to below 35% left on battery.
              Battery is best not to go to 0% as the battery may not last long.
              Once battery is below 50% you can start to charge.
              3% will kill the battery easily.

                  A8 is cheaper than Note 4
                  Note 4 has it own class.
                  A8 spec is close to Note 4

                    Testing by direct charge, meaning charger use wall socket.
                    Find charger with high Amp, eg 5V 1A
                    Provide should be 5V 2A Which is S5 come with.

                          My Samsung screen cracked, i send to the service center.
                          Free replacement of the screen. Under warranty 12 mths. 24 mths for what, no free repair!

                            If missing or gold color no good, then need to replace.
                            This meaning you could damage while slot in & out due to connection.
                            Next time, do not use force. The microSD to remove is to push in and it will pop out.
                            Some cannot use push in. If you cannot remove microSD and SIM card, use scotch tape and tape on the card and pull out. Maybe try to format the SD using computer first.
