Not as good as it seemed when I first bought the phone. It will shut down even if the phone is at 30%. It has charging problems, even changed cables. The camera on the front is horrible. And sometimes the screen will black out and I can't do anything with the phone. I've had it for a year and started experiencing problems only after 4 months.

excellente!!. I switched from a note 3 to this phone and so far no issues.the performance of the device all depends on how you manage it.

I bought A8 since it was available in my country. Everything is excellent. Fast, very good battery and camera and also very durable(I dropped the phone a few times on concrete). May be some of you get fake units from china or just liars.

I have been using Samsung Galaxy A8 for two years now. Usually to save battery, I am using Ultra Power Saving Mode. It seems that the battery life time is not as long as that of Samsung Galaxy S5 in this mode. Battery life for Samsung Galaxy S5 in this mode is more than 1 day, up to a week. However for Samsung Galaxy A8, the battery life time is LESS THAN 1 DAY even though I have full-charged the mobile phone and straightaway changed to Ultra Power Saving Mode. Is this normal for Samsung Galaxy A8?. Or is it just my mobile phone?

Guys, please really avoid phones with 1.0μm camera like this one. Low light performance is horrible, so dark, color is dull. Even photos in daylight, color is bad. 13MP with standard μm pixel size is much much better, even 8mp.
I really regret buying this. Please samsung, don't do this ever again. I prefer camera bump but good cam rather than slimming the phone but reducing cam quality.
CAMERA IS REALLY HORRIBLE. Don't trust gsmarena cam review for this phone. You will know the quality by using it everyday, in any light, like me.

I have bought this Smartphone on March-2016, from the 6th month its getting damaged & the problem was not solved even on the 11th month (Screen was comming out from the case/metal body); the phone gets highly heated afetr using WIFI/Internet.
On the other hand its very good phone. The phone is not showing the quality in its pricing also. The service is pathetic...
Anyway "I will never-ever recommend" this Phone for anyone

And ur mobile data must be opend...it needs a net connection..may be 1 gb net u will need to update it.

I bought Samsung A8 in 2015. So far untill now no problems. Have a good condition. But battery cant so long. I just re charge After using this phone full time 5-6 hours.
