A8 16MP cam is better than your Zenfone 13MP cam. A8 is slimmer at 5.9mm compared to the brick Zenfone at 10.9mm. A8 can be expanded up to 128GB with Android 5.1 while your Zenfone is up to 64GB only. A8 is octa-core but Zenfone is only quad-core. A8 has fingerprint sensor which very convenient for the phone security lock/unlock and your Zenfone doesn't have. I gues you should make a comparison of other features and do not confine to the RAM only, it is not the only basis for pricing the phone and concluding it is competitive. A8 is more competitive than your Zenfone!

i bought galaxy a8 in qatar , it's every thing is good. but too much lag.. so i used only one day and sold it out. now i bought galaxy s6 edge. and very much satisfied with it, it is very fast smooth no lag. and many feature with its beauty design.. it's really very very very nice .cell phone..

zenfone2 has 32gb storage 4gb ram @17,000++; while galaxy a8 32gb storage 2gb ram @24,000++. i guess 2gb ram may b a bit slow for 32gb internal. asus' zenfone is competitive to galaxy a8...so, which is which? opinion please

A good phone which worth for the money we spend. In short Excellent battery back up and performance so far. Value for money smart phone.

Low speaker and average camera. Sometimes lagging and battery really bad. S6 or S5 or even Mega 6.3 is much better in my opinion. No need to answer your opinion is not welcome.

If its have s810,815 or 820, 4 gb lpddr4 ram , 16 MP 2160p IMX 234,usb-c,nfc and removable battery with 320-370$ price range its can better than oneplus 2 etc....
