I don't think it will be priced higher than the oneplus 7. It will be launched to compete with it and I can already see a lot of benefits in going for the A80 instead of the oneplus 7.

According to Sammobile, it's going to have Snapdragon 730 (the processor that snapdragon announced less than 24 hrs ago) and it's going to cost 649 Euros, which converts to around £560, 730 USD and 50,000 INR . Honestly the A80 is a miss for me, just due to price, me personally if you're willing to spend that amount on the A80, you're better of waiting for a couple more weeks till One plus announce the 7 or when Oppo announce 10x Zoom (I feel like 10x zoom will be a Chinese exclusive phone) I guarantee you guys the One Plus 7 and 10x Zoom will slaughter the A80 is spec wise and will also be cheaper too.

I am really curious about this phone but I do not get what is Samsung's strategy...
What will be the camera performance of this phone? If. It goes beyond the S10+ then why not to have included it in the flagship one?
Their aim is to sell for cheaper price a smartphone which make great pics? Why not but that sounds weird...

Sd675 and helio p70 can support 48mp cameras but it's snapshot it means it takes some time to process the image(not shutter speed) So no hdr no night shots in 48 mp mode

I believe that the camera takes pictures in 12MP but upscales the photo to 48mp. Alot of these mid tier processors can't handle 48MP. It's all good saying "the camera is equipped with a 48MP camera" but for example look at the redmi note 7 pro and vivo v15 pro. Helio P70 and SD 675, can't handle 48MP natively

This phone is fine, but marketing it in the budget midrange segment is a big fail.
Simply this is not worth for the money, nor it will ever be.
Atleast 700 USD$
