The Samsung Galaxy A80 priced at CNY3,799 ($550/€490) can now be pre-booked in China through JD.com for CNY100 ($15/€10) and Samsung's online store by paying the full price. Orders will start shipping from July 19.

Samsung Galaxy A80 up for pre-order in China

Announced back in April, the Galaxy A80 is powered by the Snapdragon 730 SoC and comes with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. It runs Android Pie with One UI atop and packs a 3,700 mAh battery.

Arguably the most interesting bit about the Galaxy A80 is its design. It comes with a triple camera setup at the back with a 48MP main sensor which elevates and rotates so that you can use it for selfies and video calls.

The A80 also flaunts a 6.7" FHD+ notch-less Super AMOLED display having a fingerprint reader embedded to it.

The smartphone is already available in select markets including Malaysia, Europe, Central America and Africa, and will make its way to India later this month.
