Just got the pie update today. Phone is running fine and new changes are good, i would recommend formatting the phone or factory reset after the update because phone gets a little laggy if you dont reset it. Its not that this phone cant handle the Pie or One UI, its processor is more powerful than the new A30 which comes with Pie out of the box and runs it smoothly. You just need to reset your A8 to run Pie smoothly.

Just updated to Pie in Pakistan. Mine is 4GB/64GB variant. Till now all good

almost functionally useless. screen more responsive to leg in pocket over fingers. battery software nerferd after 10 days. (roll back update, phone works faster for longer) best of all. it stopped an emergency call to 999 due to lack of internet connections!

I've found one feature where Pie is a step backwards: There's no icon to show that Bluetooth is turned on - it's only visible when BT is active. I figured this out while wondering why the battery drain had increased - I normally keep BT turned off except when needed. It appears that there's no way to enable the icon. Why didn't they leave the icon showing but use different colours?

Android Pie is a such Android that is learning your habit when using the phone. It learns the user habit better than before. I may be wrong with my word as I am not phone developer/programmer but that is it

for me i got the Pie os update 8 days ago and the only issue i face is the battery drains faster than Oreo os and i have to charge my phone like 2 times in the day i hope samsung fix this in april update
